Men's quarter-finals
An utterly dominant display from world number one Novak Djokovic as he thrashes Kei Nishikori 6-2 6-0 to reach the Olympic semi-finals.
Pity poor Nishikori who must have cursed the draw when he saw it would land him against Djokovic in the last eight - at least if it was the semis, he would have had a shot at a bronze medal.
Djokovic has never reached an Olympic final and faces either Germany's Alexander Zverev or France's Jeremy Chardy in the semis in a bid to put right that glaring omission on his otherwise-sparkling CV.
Great Britain 0-1 Netherlands
A much better effort from Giselle Ansley, but still it is not enough.
She drags a shot towards the left of the goal, but the goalkeeper is good for it and slides out her left foot to block the ball.
Great Britain 0-1 Netherlands
Well, well, well.
ANOTHER penalty corner for GB. Surely this is the one.
Great Britain 0-1 Netherlands
Oh dear.
The GB player waiting at the top of the D cannot hold onto the corner flick. Big opportunity wasted.
Great Britain 0-1 Netherlands
Ooft.
Giselle Ansley pulls her effort over the top of the goal. But fear not, GB have another penalty corner.

Here we go!

Aaron Wolf has won Japan's eighth gold medal in judo at this Olympic Games. This equals the record for domination of judo at a summer Games which Japan achieved with eight gold medals in 2004.
No country other than Japan has won more than three judo golds at a single Olympics. Japan had not won more than four judo golds except in 2004.

Another one stopped!
This is an absolute masterclass in defence from GB. Lily Owsley heroically throws her body in the way of the shot, limping away afterwards.

It's not often you see the long ball from the Dutch, they can do it but it's not their favourite thing, it's good pressing from GB which is forcing them into that.
Great Britain 0-1 Netherlands
This one is being played in 30C heat with 80% humidity.
And GB are being made to work so hard in defence. It's brutal, but it's working as the Dutch remain goalless in this second quarter.
The Netherlands have just won a penalty corner though.
Women's 200m backstroke heats
Britain's Cassie Wild will be racing inside the next hour as the 21-year-old Scot will be in heat two of the women's 200m backstroke.
Wild finished second at this distance in last year's European Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
She has already competed in the 100m in Tokyo and qualified for the semi-finals, but was unable to secure a place in the final.

Defensively GB have done well, defended corners, got pressure to the ball. It's just when they win the ball they're just building for a bit too long. It's quick turnover so can they just maintain the possession for a bit longer.
That's a lot easier said than done, though.
Great Britain 0-1 Netherlands
If this is your first foray into the hockey at Tokyo, GB are third in their group after three games.
The top four teams from both groups go through to the quarter-finals so the defending champions are in a good position after wins against India and South Africa.

The patience is really key in hockey, when teams do it they generally play a lot better.
When GB played Germany in the first game, they did that and it worked so much better for them!
Great Britain 0-1 Netherlands
That's all for the first quarter. The scoreline actually seems like a positive result for Great Britain at this stage given how ferocious the Dutch attack has been.

She puts it hard to her left hand side, there's nothing really Hinch could do about that one - so much power!
Israel v South Korea
It's more heartbreak for Jon Moscot as he is forced to sit out Israel's Olympic debut against South Korea.
The former Cincinnati Reds man screamed in agony after pitching in the first innings and has been replaced by Jake Fishman.
Moscot last threw a professional pitch in 2016 and was forced to retire through injury in 2019. His comeback hasn't gone to plan.

GB have held on so well in this first quarter, but there is not much Maddie Hinch could do against that penalty.
Frederique Matla gets the Nethlerands up and running.
Great Britain 0-0 Netherlands
Hollie Pearne-Webb is deemed to have interfered with the Dutch player's shot and the Netherlands get a penalty.
