Fraser-Pryce does look very good indeed.

She whipped round the bend - down the home straight in total control. Always focused, no messing about, gets herself round that bend.

No need to pump the shoulders and use all that power of the weight training in the winter, she can just cruise in.

    Women's 200m heats

As you know, Great Britain's world champion Dina Asher-Smith will unfortunately not be competing in the Olympic 200m heats from 02:30 BST this morning.

After failing to make the 100m final in Tokyo on Saturday, the 25-year-old revealed she tore her hamstring earlier this month.

A tearful Asher-Smith told BBC Sport: "It broke my heart because I am a competitor. It is the Olympics but there are plenty other championships for me to come and kill."

She said she had been in the "shape of her life", but was then close to having to miss the Olympics after suffering the injury in her 100m British title win in June.

There is still British interest in the event, however, as Beth Dobbin goes up against Jamaica's 100m champion Elaine Thompson-Herah in her heat at around 03:18.
