Ahh, that's it.
Frazer Clarke won't be allowed to carry on. He celebrates anyway and there's a nice show of respect between the two fighters.
It's Jalolov who will go through to the gold medal bout.

What a wonderful story, Frazer Clarke realising a dream that has been more than a decade in the making.
Up on the GB program since 2010! Before Anthony Joshua, before Joe Joyce, he saw those men go past him. He was in Rio as GB's chief cheerleader. Now he has continued GB's fantastic success in the super heavyweight division.

That cut is disgraceful, that cut would stop any fight in any decade in the world, it's a 30 stitch cut - it looks like he's been bitten by a shark!

The cut is huge above Frazer Clarke's eye. He might not be allowed to carry on.
Jalolov is targetting it now.

Frazer Clarke has got to go for it here, he will go for broke and might get himself hurt. But you know what, it's 180 seconds and he won't care.
Men's super heavyweight
One of those cuts above Frazer Clarke's eye has opened right up and that needs sorting.
That was a much better round from Clarke but it goes in favour of Jalolov with a 4-1 split.

Frazer Clarke has got two bad cuts that he needs to protect from opening up.
He also can't allow Jalolov to get into his rhythm, he's a good southpaw boxer, he's good with the jab, you've got to block it. You've got to make him miss and you've got to make him pay.

Oooft!
Bakhodir Jalolov slips and loses his footing after a huge hit from Frazer Clarke!

Frazer Clarke did exactly what he has to do in that last minute, it's a great risk, you have to get close to Bakhodir Jalolov, he has got reach, height and size advantage. He has to get his hands in close, he hasn't won the round but he did that in the last minute.
I don't think Jalolov can throw short shots, if you can get close to him you can beat him.

Bakhodir Jalolov takes the first round unanimously despite it being competitive. Frazer Clarke's corner take another look at the cut above his eye.
Men's super heavyweight
Bakhodir Jalolov likes the jab and he's pinned Frazer Clarke to the ropes once or twice.
The Briton ends the round with a sharp right-hand hook.

Nine months before London Frazer Clarke was the number one, then Anthony Joshua just went past him, six months before Rio he was the number one and then James Joyce just went past him.
He was heartbroken but he showed up at both events and there he was in his shorts draped in the Union flag screaming on the boxers. He has had to deal with turning down professional offers, and being in the shadow of AJ and Joyce.
He has mirrored their careers.

It's a 4-1 split in favour of China's Gu.
She's has nullified Oshae Jones, it will be Gu that goes through to the gold medal fight. What a competitive fight that promises to be, the top two seeds in the final.
