David John:, external Yeah! England 4-12 there, panicking now!!
Ellie:, external Joshua knows which sport he prefers!
Nige Dyer:, external D Clarke having a positive game so far, England also look positive. Not seen much of the Burgess Boys though??
Australia's Greg Inglis: "We need to play our sets out and do what we are doing."
England's Gareth Widdop: "We started a little bit slow but we got back in the game and scored a few points, which is great."
Jon Wilkin
Former England international on BBC Two
"England should have stopped Australia's try - there were three missed tackles."
Robert Culshaw:, external Watching with Percy Coldrick - try scorer in Rorke's Drift Test - because no one else is up..
What a way that would have been to finish an excellent half for England. The half-time hooter sounds moments after that England chance - as the two sets of players scurry off. I know which changing room will be the happier at the break. And it's not the Aussie one.
And then, in a blink of the eye, the action flies back to the other end. Sam Tomkins punches a gap through the Australian line, finds Daryl Clark on his shoulder, but the Aussies scramble back to haul the hooker back.
A golden chance for Australia slips down the drain. The line is staring at Aussie winger Josh Mansour, but he can't be picked out by Michael Jennings. Opportunity lost. Aussie coach Tim Sheens knows it as he winces and slumps into the wall in disbelief.
Ian Millward on BBC Two: "That was a massive opportunity for Australia on the stroke of half-time, they might just come to rue that. It was man on man but Michael Jennings threw the ball into touch."
The Australians are rattled. I repeat, the Australians are rattled. That's not something you write in a sporting context very often. The home side are moaning and groaning to the referee as they look for a way back before the break.
Did we say Sam Tomkins might be groggy? Doesn't look it as he smartly deals with a Daly Cherry-Evans's grubber. Smart work from Tomkins but it will be a drop-out.
Sam Tomkins received a lot of treatment after his collision with Greg Inglis. He looked like he took a heavy blow but is able to carry on. Groggy, one might say.
Ian Millward
Former Super League and Australian NRL coach on BBC Two
"Talk about being positive. Dan Sarginson, brought in for Michael Shenton at centre, caught the ball before flicking a pass to Ryan Hall, that is real skill. Every time they get down that end, they look so positive."
Tommy Lee:, external Yeesssssss!! It's rare you'll hear me cheering on Ryan Hall haha
Brian Noble
Former Great Britain coach on BBC Two
"Ryan Hall holds the sideline so well, which will have caused nervousness to Josh Mansour. He finishes plays like that for Leeds all the time."
England are banging heavily on that Australia door - and they have smashed it down! England full-back Sam Tomkins bravely jumps with opposite number Greg Inglis to win another set of six, and seconds later they work the ball out to the left touchline. Guess who's there? Yep, Ryan Hall. No stopping the England flyer from 20 metres as he races behind the posts.
Sensational kick from the trusty right peg of Gareth Widdop, who bends it like Beckham inside the far post.
England look confident as they strut forward on the attack again. But they cheaply hand back possession in the 20-metre line when James Graham of all people loses control, the ball greasily slipping out of his grasp.
Ian Millward
Former Super League and Australian NRL coach on BBC Two
"Brian Noble put me in a headlock when England scored, he should be put on report for that.
"Ryan Hall created that try with the break. Matty Smith goes deep into the line and commits defenders."
England are level! Nothing wrong at all with that one. England make their advantage count, working the ball to the right as Sam Tomkins puts in Kallum Watkins, who avoids three Aussie defenders to place the ball down.
And now England are ahead. Gareth Widdop keeps his nerve to kick over the conversion.
Are England in? Centre Kallum Watkins thinks so after he touches down. But does the video ref agree?
