Australia win a scrum inside their own 20-metre line - but are driven back by the hungry England pack. However, the ref rules there is an infringement and the Aussies are given another chance. The teams are wearing old-fashioned shirts and there was nearly an old-fashioned scrum there...

"A bit shabby there England. England need to keep playing, the danger is if they stop playing."

England kick the ball into touch. Relieve the pressure a little and the clock ticks down.

"I think it is a good decision by the video referee. Matty Smith doesn't get the chance to get to the ball because Boyd Cordner runs an inside line and obstructs him."

"I haven't seen this for a long time. When an England team want to make a break, they are doing it with ease. The scoreboard is not an indication of the game so far. But the disallowed Greg Inglis try was a warning sign to the England defence."

  7. TRY REVIEWpublished at 06:22 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November 2014

Australia think they are in through Greg Inglis. But was there an obstruction on an England defender in the build up? The video referee is taking a close look...

Enterprising attacking play from England on the sixth almost yields their third try. Tom Burgess's offload is one factor, several other England players are involved, throwing the ball, keeping it alive brilliantly. It almost cuts apart the Aussie defence but the ball goes to ground as the try line moves into view.

England's markers were caught sleeping against Samoa last week, but they are wide awake at the play the ball today. Aussie hooker Cameron Smith is not allowed any room as his shirt is dragged over his head.

"There is not enough involvement of Greg Inglis in the game - three sets since half-time and he has not touched the ball."

Unconvincing start from England as Ryan Hall dilly dallies under a high kick. Hall and Sam Tomkins sort it out between them, before James Graham returns the ball with a big drive. The England prop is caught by a flailing Aussie boot though - Greg Bird the man - and winces with pain. He's a tough cookie and gets back to his feet quickly.
