"It could have been easily 18-0 or 24-0 but St Helens did well to come back into the game.
"It's got a real play-off feel to this one, if St Helens can clean up their kicking game they could be in with a shout.
"I'm sure this will be a thriller right to the end, I'm still going for Wigan but St Helens do have a good chance."

St Helens have had the best of the last 10 minutes. They approach the Wigan line again but Ryan Hampshire gathers well from a grubber kick. Then Jordan Turner gives away a cheap penalty at the play-the-ball and the pressure is eased.

What defence from Liam Farrell! With a couple of tackles left, the Wigan man bursts out of the line to close down Lance Hohaia 10 metres out and the Saints half-back knocks on.

Oooh, now here's a chance for St Helens. Wigan full-back Ryan Hampshire slips into touch as he attempts to gather a Saints kick forward and the visitors have a scrum a few metres from the Warriors line.

An excellent kick from Wigan's Matty Smith gets Tommy Makinson facing his own line, but the Saints winger wriggles his way free and forces a penalty as Wigan are caught offside.

Mose Masoe is penalised for a poor tackle and Wigan attack the Saints line again. The Warriors to within a couple of metres. Can they force their way over? They work it out wide to the right, but what a defensive effort from St Helens. Anthony Gelling is barged out of play by three Saints tacklers and the visitors have possession back.

Has Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook got this down from close range for a St Helens reply? Over to the video referee... it's given! Saints right back in this. But Tommy Makinson makes a mess of a fairly routine kick at goal and Wigan still lead by two points.

A stoppage in play here for an injury. St Helens forward Joe Greenwood is brought down by a combination of Joel Tomkins and Ryan Hampshire and his leg buckled underneath him as he fell to the floor a few yards from the try line. He's up on his feet again but walking very gingerly to the touchline, helped by two medics.

Some huge hits here. If they keep this up for 80 minutes, this one will be worth sticking with. A high shot on Luke Thompson by Michael McIlorum and Saints have a penalty on halfway.
