    Tell you what, I'm shattered.

I feel like I've just run into Jamie Peacock, Kyle Amor, Alex Walmsley AND Adam Cuthberson, and all I've done is tap away on a keyboard.

What a game at times, what attack from Leeds, what a brave fightback from Saints.

'Every minute matters' they say this season, and on that evidence you'd agree.

Don't forget there's loads more rugby league coverage across the BBC Sport website this weekend, from live radio commentaries to match reports.

But for now, after a pulsating game, thanks for joining us and good night.

Been distracted by the cricket? Maybe the football? Perhaps, even the soaps or whatever else you might be watching or doing instead of top-class Super League?

Well, Steve Marshall's report is the perfect summary of Leeds Rhinos' 41-16 win against St Helens, featuring a hat-trick by Ash Handley (right).

Elsewhere too tonight, Wakefield were too strong for Halifax - ending up 44-16 winners in the weekend's first Challenge Cup fifth round tie.

St Helens head coach Keiron Cunningham told Sky Sports: "I'm proud of what we did in the second half. If we had our time again we would want to play that first half again and stand up a little bit more than we did.

"We knew we could score points but we gave ourselves too much to do.

"Leeds were very good, very clinical and we've learned some hard lessons tonight."

Leeds head coach Brian McDermott told Sky Sports: "I didn't think we were that far in front at half-time as the scoreline suggested.

"It was a really tough old second half. For the first half we showed how good we could be offensively, and in the second we showed some toughness and determination.

"Saints will be disappointed but I didn't feel they were that far off."

St Helens captain Jon Wilkin told Sky Sports: "I thought our attention to detail was poor. Leeds executed well in the first half and pretty much took every chance they were given.

"We were disappointed with how we started the game. Luke Walsh made a big difference and we need him on the field.

"It gets me out of the halves which, will solve some of our problems. I'm not a half-back but I'm trying.

"Leeds are as clinical as any side in Super League. Congratulations to them - they were exceptional, but we need to do better."

Leeds' hat-trick hero Ash Handley told Sky Sports: "I think the first half of the first half we played really well. In the second we were a bit sloppy but I'm sure we'll work on that in training next week."

    Well, well, well.

Leeds have now beaten everyone in the top eight apart from Warrington who they lost to last month - the only loss of the season so far.

The range of attacking options has been backed up by a cast-iron forward pack. It's mouthwatering.

St Helens, shorn of some key footballers such as Jonny Lomax and Paul Wellens, were blown away but showed their quality at times.

Six points they trail Leeds by now at the top of the Super League. The marker has been laid.

  10. TRY (Moon, con Sinfield)published at 21:49 British Summer Time 17 April 2015

Last act of the game ends with another try for Leeds.

Saints prop Alex Walmsley tried to offload in the tackle but the ball fell perfectly for Joel Moon and 'Crazy Legs' sets off for an easy scoot to the line.

Kevin Sinfield with a touch of deja-vu slots the kick and the Rhinos add a touch of gloss to proceedings.

Adam Cuthbertson held-up, then Kyle Amor is offside and Leeds get a penalty.

    Cuthbertson again held-up.

St Helens turn-over possession there after a tired set.

Leeds will be happy to eat up the clock here.

Kallum Watkins held up by Jordan Turner.

Great defence by Saints after the Leeds star had ripped through.

Bit of frustration there by Travis Burns, caught Kallum Watkins as he chased through for St Helens.

Leeds get the penalty and this will be dumped into touch.

There must be nothing more annoying than seeing Kevin Sinfield slide a precision kick into touch and peg you back further inside your own half.

St Helens have to start from 10 out, right by their own posts.

    James Deighton
    BBC Radio Leeds commentator

"This is better from Leeds. It looks like they have weathered the storm. That drop-goal could knock the stuffing out of Saints."

  18. DROP-GOAL (Sinfield)published at 21:40 British Summer Time 17 April 2015

Leeds' veteran playmaker Kevin Sinfield showing the ruthlessness to pop over a field goal and push the lead out to four scores.

That could be the try that does it.

Leeds it seems know how to keep teams at arms length, despite a battering in this second half from St Helens.

Keiron Cunningham will wonder why his side were so slow out of the blocks.

  20. TRY (Sutcliffe, con Sinfield)published at 21:35 British Summer Time 17 April 2015

Beautiful stepping by Liam Sutcliffe against the grain there, as Saints shifted left, he danced back inside to cross under the sticks.

It all came on the back of some Harlem Globetrotters stuff from the Rhinos forwards, Jamie Peacock and Adam Cuthbertson playing like pivots at times.

    Kevin Sinfield clips over. 34-16.
