"It's a one-handed grip, as we see all these wingers these days do, and he looked like Superman in the air there."
Jermaine McGillvary with a stunning finish in the corner, his diving effort helps Huddersfield earn a point here with Danny Brough landing a conversion from way out wide.
Has Jermaine McGillvary scored in the corner to possibly rescue a draw for Huddersfield?
Jodie Broughton is pounced upon by three Catalans Dragons players and dragged into touch.
He just got his hands on the ball and never got going before the potential danger was dealt with.
Eorl Crabtree is upended by Remi Casty and Huddersfield regain possession near the Catalans line just when a breakaway was on the Dragons.
Pulsating action. Huddersfield probing Catalans Dragons' try line a few times now, but they can't make the breakthrough. Yet.
And that try was Todd Carney's last real involvement in the game as he leaves the field with an apparent chest injury after putting a high hit on Kyle Wood.
Todd Carney's effort counts. But there was also certainly reason to discuss a penalty try after Jermaine McGillvary caught Scott Dureau high. It was also McGillvary who knocked the ball out of Dureau's hands.
Instead, Catalans Dragons bank only four points as Dureau misses a simple conversion.
Jermaine McGillvary comes in and catches Catalans half-back Scott Dureau on the head as he tries to stop him from crossing the line.
Todd Carney then picks the loose ball up and dots down. Is there also a knock-on in there?
Penalty try decision to be made here. Have Catalans scored again?
Nathan Middleton
BBC Sport at St. James' Park
"It's probably fair to say the neutrals in St James' Park are supporting Catalans - there were big cheers from all sides of the ground when Todd Carney crashed over.
"St Helens' fans have made themselves at home in the Gallowgate End as a number of them launch into a chorus of 'stand up for the champions' in response to the chants at the opposite side of the stadium from the Warrington faithful."

"That's the first tackle that Aaron Murphy's not made on that side and got bumped off, but Zeb Taia's done that against a lot of teams throughout the year."
Zeb Taia with one palm off and a powerful charge to the line. The Australia-born former New Zealand and Cook Islands international carries Scott Grix over the line with him.
And Scott Dureau gives the French side the lead with less than 10 minutes remaining.
Craig Huby is down after taking a head knock. Medics around him, but the Huddersfield prop looks to be talking easily enough despite looking to be in some real discomfort.
For an hour of this game there wasn't a lot of Todd Carney to be seen.
However, he has ignited proceedings and is held up over the line and denied a second try.

"Todd Carney's had a quiet game, but he's woken up now."

Todd Carney with his first try in Super League.
Catalans Dragons take possession from a penalty and with not a lot on, Carney steps through Huddersfield's defence. No outstanding dummy to be thrown or particularly remarkable step needed to make that breakthrough.
Aaron Murphy's defensive capabilities are much more palatable.
He gets a hold of Catalans Dragons half-back Todd Carney and manhandles him into touch.

"Just one score and Huddersfield will be fine again. They're defending well, although they let themselves down once."
Huddersfield's Aaron Murphy made an attempt to throw the most outrageous pass out wide.
Winger Murphy was on his way down, facing the turf before he tried to slip the ball out. It went to no one and goes out of play. Good chance missed there by the Giants.
