I think it was a frustrated dressing room afterwards. When a favourite is playing an underdog the worst thing you can do is give them a start.

We played well for a 15 minute period in the second half. The rest was a frustrating performance compared to what they can do.

I think they will put it right. There was every intention to go out and play well but the key factor was allowing Scotland to get two early tries.

It is a team in development. They are getting used to the new coach, they will only get better under a coach like Wayne.

Watch highlights as two Elliott Whitehead tries help England recover from a poor start to beat Scotland in the first ever match between the two, at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

England team manager Jamie Peacock has just described it as a "frustrating, disappointing" performance.

Australia have played the complete game. In terms of field position New  Zealand been under the pump.

Australia have been relentless and if they continue like that, something will give with New Zealand at some stage.

Australia have run out of dummy half very well and built pressure well for 30 minutes. The Kiwis did really well to hang in there.

Winger Blake Ferguson has been very impressive, he looks very strong - with size and speed on his side.

Australia will feel that they should be further ahead.

Australia just have a form of mental discipline to stick to their gameplan and have faith that they will convert it into points.

Australia have come out totally dominant. Well done New Zealand, they have hung in there. They are still only two scores behind.

Australia's Johnathan Thurston on BBC Two: "We got through our sets early and put on pressure. We lost our way a bit at the back end of that half. Some turnovers hurt us, if we get that out in the second half hopefully can run away with it

"We had a lot of the ball seemed to be playing at the right end of the field."

New Zealand skipper Jesse Bromwich: "It has been a tough half, we have to talk about things and start the second half really well. We have got to be more disciplined.

"Hopefully we can start the next half with a bit more energy and play good."

Copybook from Australia. It is a minor miracle New Zealand are not more behind.

Australia's passing is just so precise.

Veteran hooker Cameron Smith gives a short pass to David Klemmer but he is held up over the try line by two New Zealand defenders.

Another poor kick from New Zealand, this time Thomas Leuluai, who kicks it straight to an Australian defender.

You have got to make them turn and defend the ball.

Australia attack through Sam Thaiday. Jordan Rapana attempts to cut out Thaiday's pass but cannot keep hold of the ball.

    Cue more pressure.

I think this is a really good ruthless, efficient, Australia performance. They really are carrying out Mal Meninga's gameplan perfectly.

Great play from Jordan Rapana, who was in trouble in his own try zone, but managed to collect the ball on his knees and sneak out of danger.

Well played that New Zealand man.

  18. NO TRYpublished at 32 mins

The video referee did not have sufficient evidence to overturn the no try originally awarded.

Australia's Justin O'Neill was adjudged to have been stopped short of the try line. He had team-mates around him who might have been better placed.

Darius Boyd really made the effort to keep the ball in play at the start of the set that ended with O'Neill going close.. I think the Australian gameplan is to keep the ball in play and tire out the big New Zealand players down the middle.

  20. TRY REVIEWpublished at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

Is Justin O'Neill in for Australia? He looks to have got the ball down...

The original decision is no try, which needs to be overturned.
