That's about it from me tonight, on a night when 20-year-old winger Liam Marshall announced himself in Super League with four tries and champions Wigan went top of the table with a thumping victory at Warrington.

Warrington head coach Tony Smith tells Sky Sports: "We’re hurting at the moment. We're down on confidence and luck.

"We’re handing over too much ball and it’s going to cost you at some stage.

"We need to get a bit smarter and tougher, and make a bit of our own luck."

Wigan winger Liam Marshall tells Sky Sports: "I got four tries but that's credit to the boys inside me. I get the glory but it's all about what they do.

"I didn’t think it would go this way and hopefully I can kick on. It’s the stuff of dreams, this.

"There’s two lads on the sidelines (Joe Burgess and Lewis Tierney) who are quality players. I've come in because of injury, which is not how you want to come in, but hopefully I can keep my place."

Shaun Wane applauds his winger, and with good reason. It's a superb finish by the young man, after Anthony Gelling had broken through the Warrington back line.

Morgan Escare's fifth goal takes the Warriors within sight of 40 points.

Much has been made of Wigan's injury problems, but it's worth remembering that Warrington are missing some key men too.

Captain Chris Hill is one of the best and most consistent props in Super League, second-rower Ben Currie is one of the stand-out young talents in the competition, and Stefan Ratchford adds versatility and creativity to the Wolves' back line.

It's been a woeful start to the season, but there's still plenty for the Wire to play for in 2017.

Kurt Gidley kicks his second goal and Warrington cut the deficit to 20 points.

We're into the final quarter of this match and the result is probably not in doubt, but Warrington will want to restore some pride at the very least.

Far too easy for Wigan to cross again. George Williams darts through a gap and teenager Jack Wells has an easy run under the posts.

Wigan's biggest Super League win over Warrington was a 58-4 success in 2002. Is that record under threat?

You can't fault Warrington's effort but they've been second best for long periods in this match.

Next up for the Wolves? It's Leigh away a week today.

That will be another tough test for Tony Smith's men, as the Centurions have proved themselves well worthy of a place in the top flight since winning promotion.

Liam Marshall's hat-trick of tries is more evidence of Wigan's youth system producing players to perform for their first team.

England half-back George Williams is another Wigan academy product - he's much more experienced compared to Marshall, the man to his left, but Williams has been another to catch the eye.

Liam Forsyth almost gets a sixth Wigan score of the match, but he is inches over the whitewash when he grounds the ball from Sean O'Loughlin's kick. A great effort, though.

No debut score for Forsyth, who will have to wait for his moment of glory.
