Joe Burgess has sparkled on his return to Wigan after a year playing in Australia's NRL competition.

The England winger has scored six tries in four games so far this season, including a hat-trick in Wigan's World Club Challenge victory over Cronulla Sharks.

However, Wigan will have to do without the 22-year-old for at least the next month because of an ankle problem.

His absence means the Warriors have two very inexperienced wingers on show - Liam Marshall is making his second appearance, while Liam Forsyth is in for his debut.

It appears Burnley midfielder and big rugby league fan Joey Barton will be in attendance at the Halliwell Jones Stadium this evening.

BBC Radio 2 host Chris Evans also Tweeted his support for Warrington earlier - I'm not sure where he'll be following from.

Stick right here Christopher, you know it makes sense!
