    England 32-6 France

Jermaine McGillvary is limping off, accompanied by a physio. Worrying news for England? He gets the thumbs up to come back on, but looks to be hobbling still.

It's turned into a bit of scrappy arm wrestle in the middle. James Graham, Sean O'Louhglin and Ben Currie all have turns in taking England forward.

Inside the final 20 minutes then, and it's France who get the repeat set 20 metres from the England line.

Gareth Widdop completely misjudged a little kick and chase from Lucas Albert there, with the France half-back delighted to scoop it back up.

Theo Fages looks to feed one through the England line with his boot, but there are plenty of white shirts back to deal with that.

England have been anything but clinical in the second half.

This last twenty minutes is crucial as you want to be going into the quarter-finals with confidence.

I need Ian to say something because I'm frightened of my own broken record.

England have got to be better than that. It's about executing in the right parts of the field. We haven't done that for 15 minutes.

What Wayne keeps challenging the English players about is them currently not being able to concentrate for 80 minutes, about them being ill-disciplined and that their completion rate is not high enough. It's those three aspects. It's about attitude and desire.

A few mistakes are creeping into the play of both teams. That's loose from France at the play the ball, and means England can apply some more pressure.

Chris Hill powers into a sea of blue and red shirts, and then England flick it left with Mike McMeeken approaching at speed.

But he can't hold on to Kevin Brown's offload. Another ball goes bobbling away.

We've just seen Sam Burgess in the crowd, and he gives a big thumbs up to the camera. One that says he's fit and raring to go for the quarter-finals?

James Graham is back on. Plenty of power up top for England.

But the prop's pass is loose and Benjamin Jullien scoops that up. He ships it on to Lucas Albert, who will go the distance from inside his own half.

But it was a forward pass! England get away with that one...

France haven't become hesitant in defence. They get off the line and want to bang someone, and really bruise them. They keep finding energy to get off the line and try and hit someone."

It's taking two or three defenders to stop Jermaine McGillvary every time the Huddersfield winger gets the ball.

But as England ship it through hands, France get up quickly and predict the run of Gareth Widdop.

The England full-back is clattered, and France win it back.

Stefan Ratchford is the man to put the ball in at a scrum on the left as England look to send it through hands to the right.

Jermaine McGillvary is stopped, before Alex Walmsley thunders into a sea of blue defenders.

James Roby picks up and skips through the line, but he can't find the momentum to make it across the whitewash and France survive.

You could argue that England were going to be more clunky today with all the new faces in the side, but they have looked very sharp.

England are enjoying plenty of the ball in hand again. How long can the France defence hold out?

George Williams looks to thread a neat little grubber between the French line, but he overcooks it and it runs harmlessly out of play.

The pressure is straight back on France though, Nabil Djalout spills an easy pass.

England almost playing Harlem Globetrotters stuff there, throwing the ball around as first Jermaine McGillvary bursts clear and then Kevin Brown ships a neat pass inside.

Mike McMeeken tries another opportunistic offload, but it's forward. Stefan Ratchford does go over but the whistle went some time earlier.
