Saints whip through another set and a kick deep to the corner sees Oliver Gildart caught in goal.

Wigan to drop out. The home side has the momentum, but it's still only Ben Barba's try that is the difference between the sides.

It's half-time in both of our 15:00 BST games, with the underdogs - Huddersfield and Widnes - leading in both.

    St Helens 6-2 Wigan

Quarter of the game gone and it's the St Helens fans you can hear belting out their song.

Big Mal must be enjoying this. Ben Barba has lit up the game and Saints look menacing.

TRY Warrington 10-10 Widnespublished at 15:40 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    Toby King, con Bryson Goodwin

Whatever Ed Chamberlain can do for Widnes, so can Toby King.

The Warrington centre takes a pass from Kevin Brown to score his second try of the game and Bryson Goodwin levels the game up from the tee.

  8. try

TRY - St Helens 6-2 Wiganpublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    Ben Barba, con Danny Richardson

Just as I was privately bemoaning some clunky attack, the biggest X-factor figure on the field delivers a moment of genius.

Jon Wilkin steps and feeds Luke Thompson with a smart play, who offloads round the corner to Ben Barba whose irresistible pace was backed by an equally audacious step and finish.

Cue mayhem. Goal kicked by Danny RIchardson, Saints lead.

  9. try

TRY Warrington 4-10 Widnespublished at 15:35 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    Toby King

Warrington respond with their first try of the game to cut Widnes' lead.

Tyrone Roberts flicks the ball backwards from near the Widnes line and Toby King goes over for the Wolves.

Bryson Goodwin is off target with the conversion attempt.

    St Helens 0-2 Wigan

St Helens v WiganImage source, PA

Saints make a raid on the Wigan 20 but they can't convert the chance as Wigan bounce on the loose ball.

It's entertaining stuff, but lacking the minute-per-minute excitement of the Hull derby with 13 minutes on the clock.

Willie Isa's face screws up as he is pinged at the ruck. There's some genuine graft going on but not a lot of craft.

  11. NO TRYpublished at 15:31 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    St Helens 0-2 Wigan

Simple answer is no. St Helens 20-metre restart. Wigan look the more threatening at this point.

  12. TRY REVIEWpublished at 15:31 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    St Helens 0-2 Wigan

Wigan chase a George Williams kick into the in-goal. It's gone up as a no-try. Oliver Gildart tried to get there. Didn't. Did Joe Burgess touch it?

  13. Postpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    St Helens 0-2 Wigan

Big take by Tommy Makinson under pressure to snuff out the kick. Saints churn through the corresponding set and this time a long raking kick by Danny Richardson pegs the Warriors back.

  14. try

TRY Warrington 0-10 Widnespublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    Ed Chamberlain, con Krisnan Inu

The Charly Runciman-Ed Chamberlain partnership works a treat for Widnes again as the Vikings extend their lead.

Runciman draws two defenders before offloading to Chamberlain, who stays in-field and touches down. Krisnan Inu this time converts from the touchline.

  15. try

TRY Huddersfield 12-6 Leedspublished at 15:28 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    Kallum Watkins, con Watkins

Leeds' response is instant at the John Smith's Stadium as Kallum Watkins goes over following Richie Myler's pass and then converts his own try.

  16. Postpublished at 15:28 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    St Helens 0-2 Wigan

Danny Richardson failed to find touch with that kick on the back of the penalty and Wigan get the ball back.

They are in sight of the sticks again...

  17. Postpublished at 15:27 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    St Helens 0-2 Wigan

St Helens threw some decent shape at Wigan then but an obstruction gives the visitors a cheap penalty.

Wigan seem to have found their feet in this game. Mind you, I've written that and Saints get a penalty of their own.

  18. PENALTY - St Helens 0-2 Wiganpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    Morgan Escare

After Wigan get the ball stripped, Morgan Escare steps up and slots a penalty goal to make it an early 2-0 lead.

St Helens then get a drop out off the restart! Superb kick by Danny Richardson.

  19. try

TRY Huddersfield 12-0 Leedspublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    Jared Simpson, con Danny Brough

    Hello! Potential shock alert?

It's been a forgettable season for Huddersfield so far, with only two wins resulting in head coach Rick Stone being sacked in the week.

But they and Jared Simpson have their second try of the afternoon against Leeds and Danny Brough converts from wide out.

Both sets of players hunting out their opponents like guided missiles. The team that holds their nerve will come out on top here because there is no lack of commitment. Composure will win the game.

Wigan force a knock-on off a teasing kick. Here's the field position Wigan are craving, inside the first four minutes.
