Featherstone Rovers have a proud history in the Challenge Cup, winning it three times, and as such the Flatcappers always look forward to a bit of a run in this competition.

Visiting their old Post Office Road home (which to be fair, is a decent venue for rugby league) tonight are Hunslet, who have won both games so far and scored 79 points across the two matches in League One. They're also twice winners themselves in the early part of the 20th century.

Interestingly, Fev are also 100% in the Championship with four from four, and with a squad featuring Super League experience in spades in Brett Ferres, Craig Hall and Wellington Albert, they have high hopes of progress.

Fans of both clubs will be hoping to progress, and then draw one of their big West Yorkshire rivals in the sixth round. What a carrot eh?

    That one is underway.

    How do all.

It's been a pretty mad week hasn't it?

Sport has truly taken a back seat. Rugby league continues to adopt a 'Keep calm and carry on' stance in the face of it.

Three games for your delectation, with Salford-Wigan our main focus.

While elite football, golf, international rugby union and a host of other sporting and cultural events have all shut up shop amid the Coronavirus outbreak, rugby league carries on as usual.

Tonight sees Salford Red Devils - the surprise package of the 2019 season - hosting the current league leaders Wigan Warriors in Super League.

There's also Challenge Cup action, with two all-West Yorkshire ties between Featherstone and Hunslet and Wakefield and Bradford to whet the appetite.
