  4. Reaction: Rovers 'didn't get out of blocks'published at 22:21 British Summer Time 18 September 2020

    FT: Leeds 48-18 Hull KR

Hull KR coach Tony Smith told Sky Sports:

"Leeds got out of the blocks and my boys didn't. We took a while to get off the bus.

"That can happen at times during the season and we had a really poor first 40 minutes.

"There were some glimmers in the second half and we showed some energy. I won't be too hard on my boys as they have done pretty well recently."

  5. Reaction: Leeds one game from finalpublished at 22:17 British Summer Time 18 September 2020

    FT: Leeds 48-18 Hull KR

Man of the match Rhyse Martin told Sky Sports:

"It was my first Challenge Cup game so I was pretty excited for it. It's good to be back in the side and back playing footy.

"We knew if we won two games we would be in the final and if we turn up like we did tonight we should be there."

    Leeds 48-18 Hull KR

It's all over - and it's a job well done for Leeds. They join Salford in the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup.

Eight tries for the Rhinos, including two for Kruise Leeming. But the job was done in the first half when they scored five times without reply.

  7. try

    Rhyse Martin, con Martin

The icing on Leeds' Challenge Cup cake.

Excellent strength from Rhyse Martin to power his way past three defenders and touch down.

He converts his own try to continue his perfect eight from eight record with the boot and rack up a personal 20-point haul.

    Leeds 42-18 Hull KR

Credit to Hull KR - they may be losing this game but they have outscored Leeds in the second half and avoided a 'blowout' scoreline.

    Into the last five minutes.

  9. try

TRY Leeds 42-18 Hull KRpublished at 73 mins

    Jamie Ellis, con Ellis

Jamie Ellis is indeed in again. Luke Gale gets sucked in by Ellis' show-and-go and the half-back shows good strength to hold off Alex Mellor and go over.

  11. Postpublished at 71 mins

    Leeds 42-12 Hull KR

Hull KR are hunting a third try, to such an extent they go 'off playbook'.

Forward Weller Hauraki tries his luck with a kick into Leeds' in-goal area but Richie Myler is there to gather.

    Leeds 42-12 Hull KR

Leeds are 12 minutes away from the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup, a year on from being knocked out in the sixth round by Championship side Bradford Bulls.

It's five years since they last lifted the famous old trophy, when they battered Hull KR 50-0 at Wembley in the most one-sided showpiece in the competition's illustrious history.

  13. try

TRY Leeds 42-12 Hull KRpublished at 63 mins

    Jez Litten, con Jamie Ellis

Hull KR are rewarded for forcing that drop-out with a second try.

Jez Litten darts forward, ducks under the challenge of Rhyse Martin and reaches over the whitewash to score.

    Decent effort from the youngster.

    Leeds 42-6 Hull KR

To their credit, Hull KR aren't giving up, but they just keep banging up against Leeds' defensive wall.

Jamie Ellis chips a kick through but Robert Lui is there to mop up and concede a goal line drop-out. Rovers will have the ball back.

  15. try

TRY Leeds 42-6 Hull KRpublished at 59 mins

    Luke Briscoe, con Rhyse Martin

His brother Tom scored earlier, and now Luke Briscoe is on the mark too - and it could not have been easier.

Hull KR try to force the ball through the hands, it goes to ground and Briscoe simply swoops in, picks it up and runs it in.

That's seven tries for Leeds now.

This could be a long final 20-odd minutes for Hull KR as their Challenge Cup campaign goes through it's final throes.

And who do the Robins play in Super League next Thursday? You got it, Leeds.

    Kruise Leeming, con Rhyse Martin

Eight minutes ago I asked you if it was game on after Hull KR scored.

Your answer - and Leeds' is emphatic - as Kruise Leeming canters over for his second try of the night after Richie Myler burst through a gap in the Rovers defence.

    Leeds 30-6 Hull KR

Has that tackle from Greg Minikin kept Hull KR in the Challenge Cup?

Leeds spread the ball wide via smart hands from Robert Lui and Richie Myler to Tom Briscoe.

Briscoe looks for the corner but Minikin gets across to bundle him into touch. And, for good measure, the touch judge slips over.

Everyone loves an official falling over, right?

    Leeds 30-6 Hull KR

The last thing Hull KR needed to do after scoring that try was concede repeat sets - and that's exactly what they do.

Leeds press and probe and force a goal line drop-out at Jamie Ellis somehow scrambles the ball out of his own in-goal area.

Yep, try given and it's a fine piece of work from Hull KR's Jamie Ellis as he wins the foot race to his own grubber kick to dive on the ball and touch it down.

Game on? What do you think? Thumbs up for yes, down for no.
