    Level. From the tee.

Big, big finish on the cards.

Tui Lolohea held out for Salford!

Then Sam Kasiano is sin-binned by Ben Thaler. Lost patience with repeated offences by the Catalans.

    Krisnan Inu's going for goal.

    Catalans 18-16 Salford

All a bit lateral here from Salford...

Then, from nothing, Kris Welham pokes a delicious grubber through and Lewis Tierney has to sweep round.

    Salford still coming...

    Catalans 18-16 Salford

Catalans' halves Josh Drinkwater and James Maloney are crucially coming up with the right kick at the right time.

The latest one pinged Krisnan Inu on his own line. The chase was good.

Mind you, three restarts in the corresponding set have given Salford a platform...

    Catalans 18-16 Salford

Very good work from James Greenwood to clear the in-goal and ground the ball in the field of play.

Another trapdoor of a kick by Josh Drinkwater. Salford stayed afloat but it was a sickener to see for the Red Devils.

    Catalans 18-16 Salford

Salford boss Ian Watson is at pitchside. Kicking every bomb, tackling everything.

The shake of his head tells you much.

Matt Whitley chases a third-tackle kick to the line and Salford bundle it dead. Smart play from the Dragons. They noticed the space and exploited it.

    Catalans 18-16 Salford

Kevin Brown just showed us a glimpse of his left-to-right whistler of a cut-out ball but it ended up isolating Rhys Williams as Catalans poured numbers down that edge.

    Wrong call perhaps?

Catalans on the back of that chug through the set and kick to the corner. Dan Sarginson takes it, and the pendulum swings the other way.

    10 to go.

    Catalans 18-16 Salford

Just less than 15 to go and it's nervy stuff.

Sam Moa fumbles when put onto the ball around 30 metres from the Salford line.

Fatigue? Nerves? Whatever the case, the team that sharpens up and tidies up their play should win this. SHOULD. There's no given!

    Catalans 18-16 Salford

Salford three-quarter Krisnan Inu takes the ball after a chip kick is dabbed on, and touches down.

However, the video referee rules against, deeming a penalty for offside to Catalans.

Sam Tomkins stayed down there. Got his Catalans side a breather.

Salford throwing some great shape at the Perpignan club.

Pauli Pauli held out. Then Lewis Tierney shoots up to put a hit on Dan Sarginson.

    Catalans 18-16 Salford

Really good set from Salford, thanks to a roll-back carry from Kallum Watkins, slicing into space.

They made inroads down the right before switching to the left.

Dan Sarginson slips a kick in behind, Sam Tomkins bats it dead for Catalans as Kris Welham lurked for Salford.

    Drop out.

It was smart work by James Greenwood but Catalans will be kicking themselves.

This game is going to retain your interest to the end.

    Catalans 18-16 Salford

Rhys Williams is denied with the line beckoning, after another smart play dinked in behind.

The Wales winger did well to hold on to the ball before he was challenged and it did spring free.

Who has the 'cojones' to win this? And I don't mean in the fashion of Tommy Makinson, Tom Lineham or Jordan Abdull...

    Catalans 18-16 Salford

James Greenwood did well to keep his ball-carrying arm off the deck and henceforth stretch out. Nicely done.

What a cup tie this is in terms of excitement. Can't say it's good technically, but for emotion and frenzy and incident... top stuff.

Pressure pays off. Again, it's a case of Salford taking their limited chances to stay in the game.

James Greenwood took the pass from hooker Joey Lussick and despite the attentions of the Dragons defence, stretched out a big paw to dot down.

Kick is good. Two in it again. Frantic.

    Catalans 18-10 Salford

Solid run from Kris Welham, pinballing around as the Dragons tacklers came in.

    Set-restart for Salford... 10 away!

High shot from Ben Garcia on Joey Lussick gives Salford a penalty in midfield.
