St Helens wrapped up the three-peat with another Grand Final win to seal a sensational double for the 2021 season.

"I know it hurts. I lost my first ever Grand Final and I still remember how bad that felt. I'm shattered for the boys. We've worked so hard and put in so much.
I thought we could have set ourselves up to get the job done tonight but they were just too good.
"You never play the perfect game of footy. That's the bad thing about losing, you'll always look at it like 'what if this' or 'what if that'?"

St Helens head coach Kristian Woolf told Sky Sports:
"It was an outstanding game of footy. There was drama, controversy and I'm extremely proud of this group, they are special.
"They've had two coaches and that says a lot about the group as well.
"I thought we were dominant in the first half. When they scored first and we went to 12 men in the second half we started to get nervous but we knew if we gave ourselves a chance, we would always defend it out because that's what we do so well."

"That's pretty heartbreaking to get this far and to lose to two points. It was a tough game of rugby league.

Saints just find a way of constantly putting you under pressure. You have to be at your absolute best to compete with them.
For large parts Catalans were, they even had St Helens on the ropes at stages.
But St Helens just found a way to get themselves in front at the end of the game.
