Credit to Ian Watson, he's taken Salford to finals and he's done it again at Huddersfield.

It's no coincidence, it's no accident. The way his players turned up today was outstanding.

It was a masterclass from Theo Fages, it was world class at times from Jermaine McGillvary and it was different class from the team collectively in terms of discipline, execution and professionalism.

Hull KR boss Tony Smith told BBC Sport:

"The first 10 or 15 minutes we shot ourselves in the foot. We needed to build our game to compete with these guys.

"We saw a really fatigued team in the second half trying to do something but they didn't have enough in the tank.

"They were way off their game and there's all sorts of things that can affect them but some of them have hit a bit of a wall."

Huddersfield Giants were outstanding, they played to the script.

Full credit to Ian Watson, they played the way he wanted them to approach the game.

They were on point, they got to the parts of the field they wanted to be, they commanded field position and execution. They took their opportunities when they were there.

I'm pleased for Watto, to be honest.

Nice bloke and has transformed Huddersfield and certainly not stopped the momentum he picked up from his time with Salford.

Hull KR weren't at the races today and rarely threatened a stylish Huddersfield performance.
