The spine of the St Helens team looks very disjointed to me. They've shoe-horned in a couple of players to get them in the side and that has made them really clunky in offence.

Wigan have had a lot of broken play and have got down the field through Bevan French and that has meant Saints have been scrambling for much of the first half.

Saints have not been as smooth as we usually see them. They need to look at their offence because Wigan have been comfortable.

Well that was a first half to remember.

Wigan look comfortable. St Helens look like a side short of answers.

What a try! Those St Helens middles are pretty tired. They've played 10 minutes with 12 men and Liam Farrell took full advantage. He went against the grain anad melted through the St Helens defence.

Cade Cust receives possession from the restart with his foot in touch and Wigan win a penalty on halfway.

This just gets worse for St Helens.
