At the RDS Arena in Dublin, three-time champions Leinster will not only be hoping to be the first side to retain the Pro12 title - and in front of their own fans - but will be inspired to do so to ensure a fitting send off for legendary retiring Ireland centre Brian O'Driscoll. However, they have lost three of their last four finals - and two of those were on home soil, so they are not invincible.

The sun is out at last, we have a summer and it seems incongruous to be talking about a game of club rugby at this time of year in the British Isles.

But what a game we have in prospect - the Pro12 final between holders Leinster and Glasgow Warriors in front of a capacity 19,000 crowd. It certainly unfamiliar territory for the Scots, who are making their first appearance in the final.
