    The outside-half screws his effort wide. Pollard has, perhaps momentarily, lost his nerve.

    South Africa's back row are working well as a unit and causing Wales problems.

    Flanker Schalk Burger had had 17 carries and run 48m with the ball while Francois Louw has 35m, six carries and beaten two defenders.

    Then there is number eight Duane Vermeulen with 52m and seven carries.

    They are the stand-outs from a pack that are putting Wales on the back foot.

    But Sam Warburton sniffs out the danger, comes away with the ball and kicks as deep as he can. but the Springboks come forward again... This is tense stuff.
