Play is back under way as Tom Savage returns and Wasps are on the charge. First George Smith burst through and then Nathan Hughes breaks the gain line before the ball is spilled.

Slight break in play here with Gloucester forward Tom Savage down with what looks like a stinger injury. He leaves play for further assessment. 

Tom Savage is penalised for taking the man out in the air and Elliot Daly will have the game's first kick for goal. It's from half way and it's over. Superb from the Wasps man.

Wasps kick away possession and it comes back at them before a Gloucester forward is bundled into touch. Greig Laidlaw gets his hands on the ball for the first time and he brilliant kicks for territory to Wasps' 22. Wasps win the line out and boot clear.

Gloucester continue to spread the ball but Wasps, full of energy, are proving disciplined in defence and there's no way through as the ball is spilled again. Wasps scrum.

Despite the drizzly conditions Gloucester are looking to get their hands on the ball here as they make the early running and go through the phases. 

Just one minute in and we've already had a knock-on and a penalty conceded by Wasps for scrum infringement. Kicked to just outside Wasps' 22. 

A pre-match downpour has relented a little, but it's still soggy as Wasps fly half Ruaridh Jackson gets the game under way and it's straight down the throat of Ben Morgan.

Bath and Worcester both picked up bonus-point wins against London Irish and Newcastle respectively.

Champions Saracens edged out Northampton at Franklins Gardens while Gareth Steenson kicked all of Exeter's 19 points in their win against Leicester at Sandy Park.

Harlequins and Sale kicked off round four under the lights at The Stoop on Friday night.

Conor O'Shea's men maintained their perfect start to the season after having trailed at the interval.

Tim Visser's second-half try and the pinpoint kicking of Nick Evans were enough for Quins to edge to a narrow 16-14 victory.
