Wasps v Exeter - 17:30 GMT
Sunday, 6 December
Newcastle v Saracens - 15:00 GMT
Sale of course earn themselves a bonus point with that result, but their search for an away win goes on. How many better opportunities will they get this season?
Sione Kalamafoni is rightly named man-of-the-match. Huge performance by the big number eight. What a great way to start round six.
Gloucester 23-19 Sale
Huge victory for Gloucester as a massive roar goes around Kingsholm but Sale will be kicking themselves, they wasted so many opportunities to earn a rare away victory. That final line-out summed up their performance.
Sale make a mess of the line-out and Gloucester win the ball and possession. It's kicked into touch. They've won the game.
Gloucester win the scrum and kick up field, Sale run the ball back and win a penalty inside their own half. Danny Cipriani kicks to Gloucester's 22. We're in injury time.
Gloucester clear up field, possession is back and forth but eventually Sale are penalised and Gloucester have a scrum slightly inside their own half.
The ball emerges from the back of the scrum and Chris Cusiter is away down the blindside, he finds Will Addison who steps inside but the wing is tackled and the ball is held illegally. Gloucester have the penalty. Huge relief around Kingsholm. Two minutes left.
Sale have a scrum just inside the 22, can they make it count? Time is running out.
Gloucester wing Jonny May has made a mistake here kicking the ball out on the full and Sale have a decent attacking opportunity.
Breathless stuff at Kingsholm as Sale give up possession after a forward pass and Gloucester have a chance to earn some vital territory with not much time on the clock.
Gloucester 23-19 Sale
Danny Cipriani sends the ball inbetween the posts and Sale are now four points behind with 10 minutes remaining.
That's a wonderful break from Danny Cipriani, who rides two tackles as Sam Tuitupou eventually takes the ball on. Sale are well inside Gloucester's 22 and they win a penalty in front of the posts. Cipriani goes for goal.
Gloucester 23-16 Sale
Sione Kalamafoni's work is done for the evening. Meanwhile, Chris Cusiter is on at scrum-half for Sale.
Sale go through 24 phases but Gloucester's defence is so disciplined and eventually James Hook rips the ball out in the tackle and clears the ball upfield. 15 minutes left in this pulsating encounter.
Sione Kalamafoni playing in place of England man Ben Morgan has justified his selection in emphatic fashion. He's been superb in this second half. Have Sale got anything left in the tank to get back in this game?
Gloucester 23-16 Sale
Sione Kalamafoni has his second try of the game and Gloucester are back in front. Greig Laidlaw sends over the conversion.
Gloucester are back in Sale's 22. Rob Cook is just shy of the try line on the right wing as the ball comes back infield. Sione Kalamafoni collects a pass but it's debatable whether he grounded correctly or whether the last pass was forward. It's TMO time.
