"There will have been a few choice words in the Welsh dressing room. The intensity is missing. They look a yard off the Scottish lads in the breakdown."

A sweet moment before the second half got under way. Gareth Edwards' grandson waving to the camera after seeing his face appear on the big screen and the great former Wales scrum-half joins in.

Anyway. To the rugby. Scotland starting as they finished, putting pressure on Wales. Tommy Seymour chasing the up-and-under, beating Taulupe Faletau.

Scotland have certainly spent more time on the front-foot and have looked more dangerous with the ball. Stuart Hogg, though, their most dangerous weapon is off the pitch injured. Can they keep it up in the second half?

"It was an outstanding team try from Scotland. It showed everything Scotland did not do last week. They showed great execution in everything: rucks, kicking and passing."

There have been two wonderful strikes in this match so far, both initiated by canny kicks. Thanks to the power of video, you can watch Tommy Seymour score again and again and again. If you so wish, of course.

"That is exactly what I wanted to see: a really good 40 minutes from Scotland. The offloading game is there. Greg Laidlaw is running the show and Tommy Seymour is having a great game.

Laidlaw's penalty was the last play of the half. Into the dressing rooms the teams go, towards the bar the fans dash...

Samson Lee is the last man to emerge from a heap of bodies, the Scarlets man not rolling away from the tackle and Scotland have a sniff at a half-time lead.

Greig Laidlaw eyes up the target from 30m out, and boots it over with aplomb.

We're into the final minute of the half and Scotland, as has been the story of the last 30 minutes, have possession and are barging forward, forcing Wales to defend and retreat.

The Scots, though, losing ball in the crucial areas... a whiff for George North but the Northampton behemoth is unable to step on the accelerator before being unceremoniously brought down.

Scotland have carried more often and made more metres than their hosts so far, but the Welsh are hanging in, some streetwise stuff from the forwards allowing Biggar to drag his team level.

Dan Biggar goes through his idiosyncratic routine, a final look up before he boots the ball between the posts. Beautiful. It's level, it's tighter than a rock star's skinny jeans.

Bread of Heaven reverberates around the stadium, the fans asking their team to feed them until they want no more.

Sublime work by Luke Charteris, holding his man up from the line-out. Scotland penalised in the subsequent scrum - not driving straight - and Dan Biggar will have an opportunity to aim for the posts.

    Jonathan Davies
Former dual code international on BBC One

"Scotland have dominated the aerial battle, dominated possession and dominated territory. They deserve to be in the lead."

A chance for Wales... The hosts steal line-out ball, Sam Warburton spins it wide, Jonathan Davies creates space for the supporting Liam Williams but the full-back cannot find George North and the ball bounces into touch.

"Losing Stuart Hogg will be a huge blow for Scotland. He is Scotland’s best outfield runner and he has been in sparkling form of late."
