Chance for Scotland to chip away at that Irish lead. Hooker Ross Ford protects the ball as though as it's his first newborn, winning a penalty at the ruck just inside the halfway line. Gregor Laidlaw asks for the tee...

Flanker John Barclay returns to the field, Scotland back to their full complement. But the visitors were severely punished in his absence, leaking 12 points as Ireland took advantage.
Ireland 21-10 Scotland
Ireland are purring, quick hands through midfield, Scotland puffing and panting as they try to tighten their line.
The breakdown is becoming slightly cleaner, ref Pascal Gauzere stamping his authority on the players.
Ireland go back up the middle, but can't find a way through and Scotland claim the turnover.

Andy O'Neill: Terrible referring in the game, Barclay through the gate, great turnover, never a yellow. Scots harshly dealt at breakdown.

"Unbelievable try again.
"You can say that is good fortune but that's not it.
"Johnny Sexton looked up and put speculative kick over the top and judged it perfectly again.
"The Scottish players couldn’t come and catch, it caused confusion and the Scots ran into each other.
"Earls was doing what he should do, chasing it, he got lucky and it popped up into his basket."
Keith Earls
More entertainment than a standard episode of The Voice. Ireland are turning on the style now, making the most of their numerical advantage. Keith Earls pounces on a loose ball following a sloppy Scottish error, touching down in the corner.
Johnny Sexton can't add the gloss though, pulling wide left from the whitewash.

"It was a great piece of athleticism from Stander. He decided if Scotland are manning both sides then he would go over the top and he got it down and did it well."

"Stander was like a springbok going over the top there."
Stander try, Sexton con
The Aviva crowd start slow clapping the TMO as he takes an age to make a decision. Eventually we're told the grounding by CJ Stander is good. Johnny Sexton, with the precision of a protractor gets his angle from the touchline spot on.

Ireland 9-10 Scotland
Scotland flanker John Barclay was the first away player to enter the Aviva - leading the team out on his 50th appearance. Now he's the first one off the pitch. Barclay has been a repeat offender around the ruck, ref Pascal Gauzere loses his rag. Yellow card, 10 minutes on the warm-up bike for Barclay, Scotland down to 14...

"That is absolutely incredible by Scotland’s player of season, Stuart Hogg. He looks up and sees a big prop in front of him which shouldn’t happen. He saw the gap and took off. What was incredible how he took off and finished from 40 yards."
Hogg (try), Laidlaw (con)
Wow! Stuart Hogg scores one of THE great tries. Well, one of the great tries by a Scottish bloke in Dublin. The away full-back arcs through the Irish defence, shortly after another Johnny Sexton penalty, to turn the game around. Greig Laidlaw boots the extras as as Scotland edge ahead.
Greig Laidlaw
Referee Pascal Gauzere is the busiest bloke inside the Aviva. He toots his whistle again, this time in Scotland's favour, when the visitors win a penalty at the breakdown. Greig Laidlaw strokes over the kick, ticking their side of the scoreboard into life.
It's been virtually all Ireland in the opening stages...
