  1. Penalty (Spencer)published at 16:39

    Saracens 12-14 Northampton

Saracens reduce the deficit to two with Ben Spencer's kick. It's the first sign the pendulum might be swinging back to the champions.

Saints back-rower Jamie Gibson then knocks on and Sarries get a scrum.

  2. Bath 20-9 London Irishpublished at 16:39 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

Bath want the bonus point today. The hosts have been piling the pressure on and turn away the chance to extend their lead with an easy kick.

Instead, they inch towards the try line.

Remember, we want to know who you think England coach Eddie Jones should be keeping his eye one today. In fact, we could add tomorrow's game between Leicester and Exeter too.

For the record, Jones is wrapped up and is watching Saracens v Northampton.

  4. Gloucester 13-10 Waspspublished at 16:37 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

It's all about territory here as the ball is pinged back and forth.

Wasps have been much more competitive but we haven't quite had the excitement of the first half.

But the stretcher is on again and there's another injury for Gloucester as Billy Burns appears to have twisted his knee.

  5. Saracens 9-14 Northamptonpublished at 16:35

It's all Northampton at the moment, even though Saracens are back to full complement after Ben Spencer's sin-bin stint ended.

The battle at the top is getting tight, Exeter and Leicester play tomorrow of course. Wasps are losing though...

  6. Bath 20-9 London Irishpublished at 16:33 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

We have a Premiership return for Scotland international Greig Tonks. The fly-half only made the move to the Exiles from Edinburgh on Monday, and now he joins the fight against relegation, coming off the bench to replace teenager Theo Brophy Clews.

Sliding move to the left put Ben Foden in out wide but as the Northampton full-back went in for the score, he dropped the ball.

Saracens were on the rack for a moment, that was a big let-off. Foden was airborne when he spilled, looked like he'd done the hard work to stay in touch but no score.

  8. Bath 20-9 London Irishpublished at 16:31 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

Now, facing bottom side London Irish is maybe not the best way to distinguish how good you are this season. But how have Bath had such a miserable season? Remember, before today they had taken just one win from nine games.

There have been some sublime moments from the hosts today. The latest offering, a one-handed take from Kyle Eastmond, who breaks away. That was one controlled take away from a real chance for a fourth try.

  9. try

Try (Dickson, con Myler)published at 16:27

    Saracens 9-14 Northampton

Goalline sneak from Lee Dickson! The Northampton scrum-half poked the ball down on the stripe after the Saints had been given the penalty advantage but didn't need it.

Smart move to the short-side and Stephen Myler rattled the kick through the stick with no trouble.

  10. Gloucester 13-10 Waspspublished at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

Charlie Sharples with another fine run as Gloucester move towards the Wasps 22-metre line.

But the referee awards the home side a penalty and Greig Laidlaw edges his side in front.

    23 minutes to go.

Thumbs up to the guy who grabbed two first-half tries - Bath winger Matt Banahan.

Can London Irish fight their way back into this one and do their relegation battle a world of good? Bath's Rhys Priestland get's the second-half underway and we are about to find out...

  13. Gloucester 10-10 Waspspublished at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

Gloucester seemed to have settled and they're well into the Wasps half. Big moments at Kingsholm as Greig Laidlaw puts through an intelligent kick which dribbles into touch just metres from the line.

A five-metre line-out now to Wasps as Jeremy Thrush receives some treatment.

  14. Full-timepublished at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Sale 29-23 Harlequins

Sam Egerton's score came just too late for Harlequins. To be fair to the visitors, they had a go following that late score but Sharks turned the ball over and Peter Stringer gleefully booted it into touch.

Sale's impressive home record continues but Quins pick up what could be a vital losing bonus point.

  15. try

Try (Egerton, con Botica)published at 16:14 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Sale 29-23 Harlequins

Quins are back to within a converted score of victory, but there are only 20 seconds left after scrum-half Sam Egerton darts over from a driving maul and Ben Botica adds the conversion.

  16. Half-timepublished at 16:10

    HT: Saracens 9-7 Northampton

Saracens indiscipline at the scrum costs them a chance to pour pressure on the Saints, with the clock ticking dead before it can be executed.

Northampton have scored the only try of the game so far but their industry has come unstuck for the most part against an aggressive Sarries defence.

The home side have forced errors from their opponents with that tactic, and Ben Spencer has been useful from the tee. Useful until he was banished to the sin-bin for hands in the ruck.

    Two-point ball-game at the break.

  17. try

Try (Wade, con Gopperth)published at 16:09 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Gloucester 10-10 Wasps

Christian Wade with a lovely try just minutes after the re-start.

Sam Jones' missed pass finds Wade on the wing, who gallops over the line with a lovely solo effort.

Disastrous start to the half for Gloucester and we're all square.

  18. Kick-offpublished at 16:08 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Gloucester 10-3 Wasps

Jimmy Gopperth gets the second half underway.

  19. Sale 29-16 Harlequinspublished at 16:08

Around six minutes to go in the north west and it looks like it's going to be Sale's day.

Danny Cipriani has landed another penalty for the Sharks and their lead is 13 points.

  20. Penalty (Goode)published at 16:05

    Saracens 9-7 Northampton

Goode had no problem with this kick, swatting it between the sticks to restore Saracens lead as we move into the last two minutes of the half.

Bit of an arm-wrestle at the moment.
