Bath 3-18 Saracens
Anthony Watson is dismissed. Boos ring out around the Rec. The referee deemed that was simply too dangerous. The hosts are down to 14 men.
There is a real bite to this match now. Did Bath's Chris Cook aim a kick at a Saracens player there? Possibly. Nothing is given.
But moments later, Alex Goode is taken out by Anthony Watson in the air when claiming a high ball. That looked nasty as Goode lands head first. We are going to the TMO and Watson could be in trouble.
At the other end, Bath go close to their first try but are held up just short.
Semesa Rokoduguni was blocked by a very late tackle and the home fans are furious.
Alex Goode appears to have got away with that, but Bath do at least have a chance now, with a line-out close to the try line.
Wonderful play from Saracens, quick hands and Will Fraser will surely score their third try of the night.... But he just goes fractionally into touch just before dotting the ball down in the corner. It was an important last-ditch tackle from George Ford that just nudged Fraser out of play.
Prop Nathan Catt does well to turn the ball over for the hosts and they win the first line-out of the second half, near the halfway line.

Bath kick things off in the second half. Is there any way back for them?

Former Bath, England and British and Irish Lions centre Jeremy Guscott has been having his say...
What do you think, will the hosts live to regret not being more ambitious with that penalty at the end of the first half?
Is there any hope of a comeback from the hosts? Could that late George Ford penalty trigger a second-half revival?
Bath did lead 13-0 in the reverse fixture between these two sides, and went on to lose 19-13....so there is certainly time left for things to change.

What did you make of that first half then, folks? Saracens have been mightily impressive.
And what is going wrong for Bath this season? Their poor campaign looks like it could take another step backwards tonight.

Quote MessageSaracens have been unbelievable tonight. Bath needed those three points just to have a sniff, if I'm being honest. But I'm staying positive.

That easy kick between the posts from George Ford is the last action of the first half.
Saracens will be delighted with their showing so far. Mike Ford's Bath have a lot of thinking to do at the break.
Bath 3-18 Saracens
That's better from the hosts at the scrum, as they earn a penalty and George Ford kicks them onto the scoreboard.
This is all a bit too easy for Saracens so far, if we're being honest. Bath don't look joined up at all, despite the occasional nice break from Anthony Watson or Semesa Rokoduguni. Sarries have simply dominated proceedings.
Bath 0-18 Saracens
Another blow for Bath as the versatile Matt Garvey has to go off with an injury, so on comes Leroy Houston.
Meanwhile, having just scored while temporarily replacing Marcelo Bosch, Mike Ellery goes back off the field. Not a bad few minutes from him.
Quote MessageIt's like having a second 10 out there with that kind of passing from Alex Goode. Unbelievable play, well done.

Bath 0-18 Saracens
What a brilliant team try! Saracens definitely look like the league leaders tonight.
They spread the ball expertly, with Brad Barritt and Alex Goode both heavily involved and eventually it is Mike Ellery who sprints over in the corner to complete a simply superb score.
Owen Farrell can't quite convert though, from a very tight angle.
Bath 0-13 Saracens
It is all Saracens now, after a powerful break from hooker Schalk Brits sets them on their way and then Chris Ashton sprints towards the line as the visitors pile on the pressure. Eventually, wide on the Saracens left, Bath just manage to prevent a try but they concede a penalty in the process.
This time, it is too easy for Owen Farrell to miss and he tucks the visitors into a 13-0 lead.
Bath 0-10 Saracens
It hits the post! Owen Farrell struck it sweetly but doesn't quite extend the lead.
