"The All Blacks backed their line-out. They knew they had to score next. If Wales would have held out and scored themselves it would have been a psychological boost. It's a bit of a blip but they'll get over that."

    New Zealand 7-3 Wales

Coach Steve Hansen reckoned his team looked sharper in training this week but it looks the opposite at the moment, it's all been a bit patchy from the hosts so far. Webb with a poor box kick, here's Dagg under the high ball, feeds Naholo, great tackle by Liam Williams. New Zealand kick to the corner, Wales infringing at the breakdown, the ball is shipped left and it's Dagg with a try on his 50th cap... Cruden adds the extras, normal service resumed...

AnEnglishman in Doha: Wales to lose 3 tests as they r exhausted after Gatland got them to peak vs Eng in RWC 2016. They r a better team, just bad timing

Sloppy from the All Blacks at the breakdown and Moriarty is quickly on the loose ball. Wales win a free-kick at the line-out, first scrum of the game. "There was concern early on in the first Test that the New Zealand midfield will lack experience and that’s where Wales got the jump on them. They can make in-roads there I feel. Wales have to play an expansive game – when you’ve got the players of the calibre of Jamie Roberts or Jonathan Davies, you have to play to those strengths."

It says something about the All Blacks' strength in depth that Savea, who scored his 39th try in 42 Tests last week, has been dropped from the squad completely. Mad, really. And what a talent Ben Smith is - full-back, wing, centre, take your pick...
