England are lining up in the tunnel, we have portentous music in the stadium, we'll have some bish, bash, wallop in a moment...

England head coach Eddie Jones on BBC Radio 5 live: "The boys are very focused. We've done all the right things. We're in a state to play well today.
"The players were just saying this could be their last cap for England so they have to be desperate. Australia enjoy being underdogs but there's no reason we won't play better tonight."

"England will want to obliterate Australia. It won't happen in the first scrum but there is no reason why England cannot destroy Australia in the pack."

"I think Warren Gatland is doing himself a lot of favours to be Lions coach. He's conducting himself well with the players and media in New Zealand. I don't think anyone can contend with New Zealand over 80 minutes - so the job of the Lions coach will be to muster players who can."
Former Wales captain Martyn 'Nugget' Williams is not too downhearted.

"New Zealand hit a purple patch for 10 minutes and put the points on the board. What impressed me most was how Wales rallied. That was a classic Test match. Wales dug really deep for that. Warren Gatland will be so proud of how they finished strong."
Follow that. I have to say Liam Williams deserves a special mention, he was fantastic on the wing for Wales against a purring All Blacks backline. Half an hour until the second Test between Australia and England - bit of beef brewing between the two sides, could be a tasty one in Melbourne.

GSB: Seeing the new generation of AB's shining through with such impressive prowess...and they have not even peaked yet. Blimey!
mtsherlock: What a game. I'm supremely confident Wales are heading in the right direction
New Zealand 36-22 Wales
And that's your lot. Great game of rugby, great entertainment, great effort by Wales, but New Zealand were just too great. The All Blacks are now 40 games unbeaten on home soil and have an unassailable 2-0 series lead heading into next week's Test in Dunedin.
New Zealand 36-22 Wales
The hooter goes but New Zealand want another one, and I think they might have one! Crotty right in the corner, we're going upstairs... his right foot was just in touch, great work by Liam Williams and Hallam Amos...

"It was just that first 10 minutes after the break that cost Wales. But they've answered a few questions in the last few minutes. It's a fantastic finish. Jonathan Davies thoroughly deserved that try - he's been outstanding for me tonight. They've shown tremendous character."
New Zealand 36-22 Wales
What a game this is - Jamie Roberts charges down Tamanivalu, goes on a rumble, offloads to Priestland, who gets it off to Jonathan Davies. Davies with a vicious fend before rolling over for a try. Priestland misses the extras.
Rob Ackerman
Former Wales and Lions centre on BBC Radio Wales
"Great to see. Fantastic run by Liam Williams. The Welsh boys are in a dark place at the moment but they're finishing strong - go and get another now."
New Zealand 36-17 Wales
Rhys Webb with a tap and go and he makes plenty of ground, surrounded by an All Blacks herd. Wales string some phases together but they're going nowhere particularly fast. In fact, they're going backwards. Not much left in the tank... whoa! Liam Williams, who has been brilliant today, with a great angle, hitting the midfield and outpacing Dagg to score. Biggar with another fine conversion before he gets replaced by Priestland.

Wales are facing another hammering at the hands of the All Blacks. New Zealand are in another world to Warren Gatland's side, easing through the gears with Wales struggling to catch a breath.
This could get ugly...

JamesTalkSport: Well that escalated quickly! From in the game 10 minutes ago to wondering how to stop it. Clinical Rugby at its best
neil leverett: Simply ruthless from @AllBlacks. Clean hands, pace and elusive forward line
