    Gloucester 36-18 Wasps

A tight first-half but Gloucester put in a big performance in the second 40 to take a convincing victory and their first on home soil in the Premiership this season.

The game hung in the balance when Danny Cipriani made a scintillating break with Wasps down 24-18, but the ball came loose and Gloucester worked the length of the field to secure the bonus point.

Henry Purdy joined the party at the end as Wasps missed out on the chance to go top of the Premiership table.

Try (Purdy, con Hook)published at 18:16 Greenwich Mean Time 19 November 2016

    Gloucester 36-18 Wasps

A fifth try for Gloucester to round things off nicely for the Cherry and Whites.

The ball is hacked forward by Matt Scott and there was only one winner between Henry Purdy and Ashley Johnson.

Purdy scores his first try in the Premiership since September and with the final kick of the game, Hook adds the extras.

  6. try

Try (Sharples, missed con Hook)published at 77 mins

    Gloucester 29-18 Wasps

Danny Cipriani with a lovely break for Wasps but Gloucester, in an instant, go down the other end of the field to secure the victory.

Cipriani tried to feed the ball across to Christian Wade but the ball came loose. Willi Heinz saw a massive gap in the backfield and Charlie Sharples won the foot race.

James Hook can't add the extras but Gloucester look certain for a bonus-point victory.

  7. try

Try (Young, con Gopperth)published at 18:11 Greenwich Mean Time 19 November 2016

    Gloucester 24-18 Wasps

Thomas Young has his second try of the game as he manages to put just enough downward pressure on the ball to give Wasps hope.

Jimmy Gopperth lands the extras and Wasps could win this with a converted try.

    Gloucester 24-11 Wasps

Wasps are looking better down the short side and Ashley Johnson manages to get free from the tackle. He feeds the ball back inside to Thomas Young and he has the ball over the line.

But was there enough downward pressure? We're asking the TMO try yes or no?

    Gloucester 24-11 Wasps

But they win the penalty at the scrum and Danny Cipriani's kick takes them deep into Gloucester territory.

They've got just under 10 minutes to complete a remarkable turnaround.

    Gloucester 24-11 Wasps

Wasps are desperately trying to give themselves a lifeline but Gloucester's defence is holding them in position.

They're stuck on the half-way line at the moment and eventually, the scrum goes the way of Gloucester as the ball is knocked forward.

Wasps haven't been able to find any fluidity this afternoon.

    Gloucester 24-11 Wasps

A crucial period here at Kingsholm.

Wasps are throwing everything at the Gloucester defence with just under 15 minutes left to play on the clock.

It's another five-metre scrum to Wasps but it's a tremendous push from the Cherry and Whites, and they win the penalty.

    Richard Hibbard has been immense.

    Gloucester 24-11 Wasps

Wasps still have good territory here with a line-out on the five-metre line.

The forwards have the ball but the pick-and-go is held up just short. Gloucester's defence has been strong so far this afternoon.

    Gloucester 24-11 Wasps

Wasps need an immediate response and Christian Wade is the man to lead the charge.

A lovely break from the winger and in the next phase, Wasps bundle over the line.

But brilliant work from Gloucester skipper Willi Heinz as he holds up the player.

    Wasps with a five-metre scrum.

    Gloucester 24-11 Wasps

And the ruling is in favour of the Cherry and Whites.

Matt Scott is held in the tackle but he reaches out to the ground the ball.

The Shed erupts as the decision is announced and Gloucester have suddenly taken a stranglehold of this game.

Only one missed kick so far this afternoon from James Hook and he stretches the Gloucester advantage to 13 points.

    Gloucester 17-11 Wasps

    Have Gloucester got another one?

We are going to the TMO to check for a double movement by Matt Scott...

  16. try

Try (Atkinson, con Hook)published at 58 mins

    Gloucester 17-11 Wasps

A string of errors by Danny Cipriani lets Gloucester in for the try.

He fails to pick up the bouncing ball, making a hash of the clearance and Mark Atkinson slides in for an easy try.

    Oh dear.

  17. Missed penalty (Hook)published at 55 mins

    Gloucester 10-11 Wasps

    Well, I called it.

James Hook lines up the kick this time but he's missed it.

Dai Young will be furious with his side, and it's Thomas Young who was at fault for that one. He can expect a ticking off from Dad.

A lucky escape though for Wasps.

  18. Penalty (Gopperth)published at 17:43 Greenwich Mean Time 19 November 2016

And without showing much flair in attack, Wasps take the lead for the second time in this game.

Jimmy Gopperth has found his range and this could go down to a battle of the kickers.

  19. Postpublished at 53 mins

    Gloucester 10-8 Wasps

Wasps earn a penalty as Matt Kvesic is pulled for holding on. He was too eager there and found himself isolated.

The ball is collected well from the line-out and Wasps have got themselves another penalty.

Goal is the shout and Jimmy Gopperth could give Wasps the lead with this kick.

Scotland 3-0 Argentina; Ireland 0-5 New Zealand

It's loud, proud and more than a little scary.

It is the sound of the Haka, which New Zealand players deliver before their game against Ireland kicks-off.

Quick as you like the All-Blacks take the lead with a Malakai Fekitoa try.

Elsewhere, Scotland lead Argentina 6-0 after almost 30 minutes with Gloucester's own Greig Laidlaw landing a second penalty.
