    Worcester 12-26 Wasps

That's not to say that Worcester are done this afternoon - they remain in search of a first try, and Chris Pennell gets as close as they've come before being halted just short of the try line.

The hosts are showing indiscipline however, as referee Craig Maxwell-Keys penalises a neck roll against Sam Lewis - should that have been a yellow card?

Elsewhere, Jamie Shillcock misses his first kick of the afternoon, which isn't helpful for the Warriors.

    Newcastle 26-15 Harlequins

Quins pull a try back as they keep the ball alive and go through the phases.

After good work from Jamie Roberts, Karl Dickson spins away from the defence and touches down.

    Ruaridh Jackson adds the extras.

Is this the start of a comeback?

That try seems to have taken the edge out of Worcester's play, and the Sixways crowd as well.

It's just what the doctor ordered for Wasps - injuries have hit them hard in recent weeks but they're putting in a really accomplished performance, worthy of a side challenging the likes of Saracens.

When these teams met three weeks ago in the Anglo-Welsh Cup, Dan Robson scored two tries and created three more.

He's at the forefront for Wasps again - showing great acceleration and power to make a break and finish sharply.

Worcester aren't able to react, and the gaps are simply too big in their defence.

Juan Pablo Socino gets his second try of the afternoon and Falcons' fourth, securing a bonus point.

It was good play by WIll Witty, who found Socino to cross about six meters in from the touchline.

Joel Hodgson can't add the extras but the hosts are building a commanding lead.

It took Brendan Macken 49 seconds to capitalise on a Worcester error to go over and give Wasps the lead.

There's been no such drama in the opening exchanges of this half, though the Warriors are enjoying yet more success at the scrum.

    England 37-21 Australia

England are not nearly as good as the side that won the 2003 World Cup despite equalling their record of 14 straight Test wins, says Eddie Jones.

Jones, who has won each of his 13 games in charge, is yet to come up against world champions New Zealand.

"The 2003 side were a much better side than we are at the moment," he said. "They could win any number of ways. They had a very, very consistent scrum and line-out. We don't have that yet."

England would play All Blacks tomorrow - Eddie Jones

A year on from the deflation of the Rugby World Cup, England capped their annus mirabilis by coming from behind to stun Australia 37-21 at Twickenham - equalling the 14-Test winning record of the 2003 vintage.

So how were they able to respond to the Wallaby blitz, and what has set England apart this year?

BBC pundits Matt Dawson and Paul Grayson have given their opinion on what's sparked the turnaround.

    Newcastle 21-8 Harlequins

It's also half-time at Kingston Park and Newcastle have a 13-point lead at the break.

Harlequins began the game on top, and scored a brilliant try through Rob Buchanan.

Newcastle then put real pressure on the Quins defence, and hit back through Michael Young, Juan Pablo Socino and Mark Wilson.

Falcons will be leapforgging Quins as it stands.

    HT: Worcester 12-19 Wasps

Worcester have had to survive a scare to make it to the interval within a converted try of Wasps.

South Africa international Ashley Johnson executes a lovely kick and Josh Bassett is on the chase, but Chris Pennell does well in a pressure situation to thwart the danger.

How would I describe that half? Warriors may feel they should be ahead, while Wasps are showing grit with so many players missing.

  12. Penalty (Miller)published at 37 mins

    Worcester 12-19 Wasps

The visitors mount a proper attack for the first time in a while - Josh Bassett getting the ball out wide after a scrum and surging into the Worcester 22.

On another day it might have been a Wasps try, but the move breaks down and they have to make do with the consolation of three more points, courtesy of Rob Miller's boots.

  13. Penalty (Shillcock)published at 34 mins

    Worcester 12-16 Wasps

Whatever Rob Miller can do, Worcester's Jamie Shillcock can do too.

Neither are regulars in the fly-half position, but when Wasps are caught offside on the 10-metre line, Shillcock puts Wasps to the sword to earn his side another three points.

This game is becoming all about the kicking.

  14. Penalty (Miller)published at 32 mins

    Worcester 9-16 Wasps

Worcester, all your good work in the past 20 minutes is being undone.

Brendan Macken, Tommy Taylor and Alex Reider work well to win another penalty, this time at the breakdown, and Rob Miller is kicking very well indeed.

Wasps are back to a seven-point lead, so the hosts have made no ground since the first minute horror show.

  15. Penalty (Miller)published at 29 mins

    Worcester 9-13 Wasps

I think they call it 'game management'.

You're away from home, your star man Danny Cipriani is injured and you're under the cosh...

No issue for Wasps - they win a crafty penalty at the ruck and stand-in fly-half Rob Miller's kick goes through off the post, to give the away side some respite, and points.

Nwecastle have their third try and a second in the space of a few minutes.

The Falcons get straight back into the Quins 22 after winning a penalty at the restart and teh forwards start driving.

Flanker Mark Wilson powers over from close range and, following a referral to the Television Match Official, referee Ian Tempest awards the try.

The hosts have a commanding lead with the break not far away.

    Worcester 9-10 Wasps

From the Wasps restart Worcester come straight back into their 22 - former Australia international Cooper Vuna gets clear, but the visitors force a knock-on.

Dai Young's side surely can't wait for half time - they're down to bare bones and the Warriors are turning the screw.

  18. Penalty (Shillcock)published at 25 mins

    Worcester 9-10 Wasps

That's the least Worcester deserved from that spell of dominance.

The home side are given a penalty advantage and Jamie Shillcock shows nerve to kick the points.

I think Wasps now they're in for a right battle this afternoon.

  19. try

Try (Socino, con Hodgson)published at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2016

    Newcastle 14-8 Harlequins

Newcastle hit the front again after capitalising on a Harlequins error at the breakdown.

Juan Pablo Socino picks up the ball at a ruck and, with no covering defender in the guard position, races through the final 10 metres to touch down.

Joel Hodgson adds the extra two points for a six-point lead with just under 10 minutes to the break.

Sixways is as loud as it's been all afternoon as the Warriors give them something to shout about.

On a couple of occasions it looks like it has opened up for the hosts, but Wasps are very disciplined and keep them at arm's length.

Bodies are being put on the line.
