    Gavin Hastings
Former Scotland full-back on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

It's the first time that Scotland have been able to create any space.

But Wales will be pretty disappointed, notwithstanding that they managed to prevent the try.

Former Ireland captain on BBC One

Sam Warburton is giving a captain's performance today.

The technical proficiency to go in without putting your arms on the ground is immense.

He has the ability to do the right thing at the right time, he is one of the best in the game at that.

Richard McClay:  Justin Tipuric is outrageously good.

Adam Shaw:  Scotland very fortunate to be going in just four points down at half-time.

John Douglas:  Wales are consistently playing for the penalty, very frustrating to watch.

That last five minutes shows why Wales need to be on their toes constantly, because Scotland are more than capable of winning this game.

In the last 20 minutes this game has come to life. As a Welsh player you don't mind giving away three points here, go into the break four points ahead.

    Penalty Scotland.

Ross Moriarty has not rolled away and with the clock in the red, Scotland are going to take the kick from bang in front.

Scotland carve open Wales for the first time.

A delicious little grubber from Stuart Hogg is latched onto by Tommy Seymour who offloads to Huw Jones.

The centre is hauled down short, Wales turn over and punt out to the 22m, but Scotland have a line-out and a minute on the clock...

Tom Maycock:  Finn Russell = slower, less organised version of Cipriani? Surely a nightmare to play alongside.

Paul Santaana:  Alun Wyn is an absolute legend.

Leai:  From Siddal & mud and rain to Scotland and some strange green stuff on the floor.

Scotland are not getting quick enough ball.

As Rob said, Wales have done their homework. You've got to defend to win matches.

Scotland's props will take shared responsibility for that one.

Gordon Reid and Zander Fagerson are both mentioned by ref John Lacey in his penalty reasoning, failing to keep their feet at scrum time.

And now centre Huw Jones has been tied in craftily by Ken Owens at the breakdown.

Lacey falls for it and pings the Scot for failing to roll away.

60m lost in a couple of decisions by the Scots and Leigh Halfpenny is setting his sights for the sticks.

So often Jonny Gray runs really hard but he has been hit by his opposite number Alun Wyn-Jones there. A huge colision and then a leg drive to push Gray back. What a hit!

The only space Scotland have found is on the outside edge, that's what happens when they go through the middle.

Wales executed a couple of tag-team hits against England a fortnight ago and that is another one out of the grappling textbook.

Alun Wyn Jones and Justin Tipuric link together and and send Jonny Gray into reverse off some crash ball.

On the basis of the first 32 minutes, I think it's clear that Wales have done their homework on Scotland.

It's the same two suspects at six and seven for Wales.

Warburton and Tipuric working really well together. Warburton with the tackle this time but Tipuric gets his hands over the ball, excellent play.
