Nick Hughes: Appaling kick by Lopez. In front of the posts, a chip shot by international standards. Bottled it. Congrats Sarries.

David Tomlinson: Saracens relentless and ruthless, skilled and superb, what a team!

Liam Shaw: Alex Goode is quality, it's a disappointment that he hasn't played more for England. No disrespect for Mike Brown either.

In these types of games you need your big decision makers and your half-backs on the field.

It is a big, big call in such an enormous game to take someone like Morgan Parra off.

What a chance for Clermont to put themselves right back into the mix.

Schalk Burger infringes off the kick-off, Camille Lopez knows he needs this kick to put his side into range.

He's pushed it wide. Is that it?

Saracens just have an incredible ability to repeat their skills under fatigue and pressure.

There was nothing complex about that, it was a simple go through the motions but all of a sudden when they needed to strike - it was the famous Farrell screen.

Everyone running tricky angles and that's really hard to defend.

    Alex Goode (con Farrell)

A flurry of dummy runners fix the Clermont defence and Alex Goode skirts around the outside of Morgan Parra and in from 10 metres out.

Owen Farrell lands a nerve-jangling penalty from way out wide and Saracens are eight points clear and can sniff the silver polish.

Saracens are showing real quality here. They've not got angry with the decision.

It's as if they've had a conversation to forget about it and you can't help but think that Saracens will get some points - whether that be three, five or seven.

    Saracens need to score here.

I've only just about calmed down from the Camille Lopez incident on the right-hand side.

Letter of the law, referee was probably right. But that was a stone cold deliberate knock-on for me.

    But Saracens come again.

Schalk Brits runs the ball back from deep, Alex Goode probes with another teasing grubber kick and Scott Spedding spills forward as he gathers up under pressure from Chris Ashton.

Scrum five out for Sarries. Ten to go and a chance to close the door.
