"I thought we played really really well today. Experience definitely counted for something because when we weren't getting any joy on the scoreboard we kept attacking. 

"We could have scored a try earlier than we did. But we showed a lot of sides to ourselves and we are chuffed.

"It's massively disappointing. We know the history - that's our third final in this competition and we were deperate to do it for our fans.

"But we came up against a huge Saracens team who have proved their worth in the past few seasons.

"We gave our all out there - we might have left it a bit late in the first half to start playing but we had a good fightback in the second half and we're proud of that effort.

"We are absolutely gutted. We don't know what we're missing but hopefully one day it turns our way."

The win felt different to last year, it's a relief. There was a lot of satisfaction from this.

We could easily have lost our heads being so dominant and not scoring but we didn't.

We want to keep building but we've put down a marker now.

Saracens second row Maro Itoje: The first time was great, this time it feels kind of fake. We needed both physical and mental strength all game, it was only in the last 15 minutes that we got daylight between us.

Saracens number eight Billy Vunipola speaking to BT Sport: It is a final and we knew it was always going to be tough. We didn't want to let them score those two tries, but they can hurt you. I am thankful that we have great generals like Owen and Richard Wigglesworth to put us in great areas.
