  4. How to split this - shoot-out?published at 16:27 British Summer Time 27 May 2017

    FT: Wasps 20-20 Exeter

    Paul Grayson
Former England fly-half on BBC Radio 5 live

Let's hope we don't get a penalty 'shoot-out'. We don't want to see props taking kicks at goal!

  5. Kicking competition anyone?published at 16:26 British Summer Time 27 May 2017

    FT: Wasps 20-20 Exeter

This is from the top brass at Premiership Rugby:

"If scores are level after 40 minutes each way there shall be an immediate period of extra-time between the teams of 10 minutes each way.

    We're heading to extra-time!!

Gareth Steenson looks the coolest man in Twickenham as he drills the ball right through the middle and we're all level.

Exeter's forwards now carrying everything they can into contact... and they have a penalty!

Nathan Hughes the culprit after an outstanding afternoon. Up until then.

One score in it. Two minutes left.

    Deep breaths everyone.

Wasps just about keep the ball from their own scrum but Elliot Daly's kick will let Exeter run it back as it doesn't make touch.

    Wasps 20-17 Exeter

How long have Exeter been asking questions of this black and gold defensive wall?

Just as they look to build the phases again, replacement Michele Campagnaro knocks it on in the tackle and Wasps will have a scrum.

What a thoroughly absorbing few minutes - the atmosphere, the Exeter patience, the Wasps defence.

Chiefs were incessant and looked destined to score, but Wasps made every tackle and just about hung in there.

Once again Exeter opt against an easy kick between the posts in search of a potentially match-winning try, but Wasps turn over.

    This is another level.

    Wasps 20-17 Exeter

Olly Woodburn again nearly making a breakthrough!

However, as he looks to give the ball back to Will Chudley, Joe Simpson sticks out an arm to stop his opposite scrum-half from gathering it for a run to the line.

    Wasps 20-17 Exeter

Exeter back with the ball, if not the territory.

Some deep breathing players out there as this has been brutal stuff to watch in these temperatures.

Suddenly the Chiefs go through another gear, a burst from Olly Woodburn and then by Ian Whitten.

Exeter go wide but Nathan Hughes somehow again comes away with the ball for Wasps and Willie le Roux drills the ball deep with his kick.

Oh what a moment in this game.

With Exeter's scrum going backwards, Thomas Waldrom fumbles the ball and then Guy Thompson nicks it and Jimmy Gopperth hacks it anywhere clear.

This is tense, tight, nail-biting stuff.

Exeter get to within inches of scoring as they set the driving maul, but with the ball unplayable they will have another five metre scrum.

What a tackle from James Haskell.

The recently called-up Lion hits Thomas Waldrom as soon as he touches the ball at the back of the scrum.

    Exeter still attacking, though.

The first scrum collapses... we reset.

    Wasps 20-17 Exeter

    Big, BIG call for Exeter.

They opt not for an easy three points or the kick to touch, they go from a scrum five metres out.

  20. Heroic Wasps defencepublished at 69 mins

Fair play to Wasps - the defence was heroic from the pack. That's what Exeter do, they score from five yards out!
