    FT: Harlequins 18-27 Leicester

Leicester prop Ellis Genge told BT Sport: "We said that Harlequins were defending really well but we were more direct and playing territory more and it paid off.

"It's a prestigious club and the results in the past few months haven't reflected on us.

"You can see it in the performance we're grafting out on the pitch"

What a second half that was from Leicester as they do the Premiership double over Harlequins.

In winning they end Quins' unbeaten record in the league at the Twickenham Stoop this season.

Aaron Mauger's side go level on points with fourth-placed Bath but stay fifth.

Credit to Harlequins for keeping going in a losing cause but chasing this losing bonus point.

Dave Ward is the grateful man at the back of the maul.

Ruaridh Jackson from the right touchline is not close with his effort, so nothing for their efforts for Quins.

The game goes on and Leicester will end it with 14 men as Luke Hamilton is sent to the bin for his offence in the line-out.

The hosts are throwing everything at Leicester, but it will be a case of too little, too late.

Another penalty close to the line is kicked to the corner and it is a losing bonus point that Harlequins are chasing now.

Harlequins mess up a line-out set piece move but luckily for them the ball bounces backwards.

They earn another penalty, kick to touch and a five metre line-out.

    Can they score?

And then, the Quins backlike bursts into life.

A grubber kick ahead turns into a foot race but Telusa Veainu shows brilliant gas to beat three chasing Harlequins players and do enough to help them clear.

They have the ball, but they're deep in their own half Harlequins.

Understandably they're trying to run it from deep but they're not making too many in roads right now.

Oh dear. This was the chance for Harlequins.

With a line-out 10 metres from the Leicester try line, they knock the ball forward from the first pod and Leicester have a relieving scrum.

A flurry of changes from both sides.

A kicking exchange breaks out as both sides look for territory.

Harlequins need to be in point-scoring range, while Leicester just need to get themselves as far from their 22 as they can.

    You simply cannot teach this.

Freddie Burns rushes up in defence, reads a pass beautifully, intercepts it and sprints for the line under pressure.

As he took a blow dotting the ball down, Owen Williams, on moments ago, knocks over the conversion.

Harlequins back up to 15 players but a long way back now.

Well they made the chance for themselves but again Leicester's execution lets them down with the try line gaping as the pass to JP Pietersen is too far in front of him and goes into touch.

With another penalty in Harlequins territory, Leicester back themselves from the line-out instead of taking the chance to go more than a score ahead from the kicking tee.

With the man disadvantage now, it is the hard yards by the Harlequins forwards.

They maul the ball twice and then lots of ball taken off scrum-half Charlie Mulchrone very short around the fringes.
