For a side playing at home and with ambitions to still try and get into the top four this as been a sluggish start from John Kingston's men.

By my reckoning they've been in the Leicester 22 once, and for only a few seconds in the opening quarter.

They've had more of the ball and looked dangerous when they have had it so Freddie Burns' penalty gives Leicester a deserved slender lead.

    Harlequins 0-0 Leicester

First time there has been any fluidity in the Harlequins' attack but it ends with Nick Evans' cross field kick being gathered by Leicester and hacked up the field.

    Two scrums, two Leicester penalties.

Harlequins need to sort something out as former Wales and Lions prop Adam Jones was the guilty man.

Under pressure from Harlequins man Alofa Alofa as he gets the ball, Leicester flanker Brendan O'Connor knocks on, and time for everyone to take on some fluids - there has been a lot of ball in play so far.

Conditions in London are set very fair to throw the ball around if these teams want, it's worth saying.

I can't believe that O'Connor didn't have the pace to make it to the line, and to throw a blind pass like that - if he'd have looked he'd have seen the player.

    That was really poor.

Just the final pass at the moment meaning Leicester haven't finished off a move.

This time JP Pietersen breaks the line but the winger's offload is loose and Harlequins gather and drill it clear.

A brilliant break by Greg Bateman sets Brendan O'Connor through for the visitors, but the flanker's pass cannot find Bateman again with the line gaping.

Leicester deep inside the Harlequins 22 on the attack.

The Leicester front-row getting the pats on the back as they earn a first penalty of the night from the scrum and are able to kick out of their own half.

    Harlequins 0-0 Leicester

All Harlequins with ball in hand in the opening stages but Leicester's defence has been right on it.

Eventually a knock on out wide brings a Tigers scrum - first time for the packs to test each other out.

A top six encounter in West London to get things started this weekend, as Harlequins take on Leicester.

Quins have won every single Premiership encounter at the Twickenham Stoop this season, but have lost their last two games here in other competitions, while the Tigers are looking for a first win on the road since November.
