    So England women followed on from their U20s side in winning the Grand Slam.

    Two down, one to go for England rugby.

    Eddie Jones' side, who already have the Six Nations title in the bag, go for the hat-trick of Grand Slams tomorrow in Dublin.

    It's been a brilliant spectacle for women's rugby with ferocious defence and tackles. The result doesn't reflect the game itself but I am so proud of the England girls.

    England women are the Six Nations Champions with their first Grand Slam since 2012.

    Harriet Millar-Mills runs a good angle up the middle but Ireland continue to tackle their hearts out.

    It was always going to be a tough ask for Ireland against England's world-class attack.

    11 tries against Wales, 12 tries against Scotland and six tries this evening in Donnybrook.

    The England U20s completed their Grand Slam hours earlier, and the women are minutes away from completing their own success.

    Lydia Thompson is a classy winger and it's great to see her stretch away and score with a brilliant finish. She is so powerful through the tackle and has such good foot speed.

    289 caps on the bench and the floodgates have opened.

    And, they've played against the wind in this second period.

    A hint of a forward pass from Emily Scarratt but Lydia Thompson shows lovely footwork and once again outpaces the Ireland defence.

    World Champions England have been too strong for this Ireland side in the second half as Emily Scarratt adds two more points.

    It's a cruel game.

    Just as Ireland had dragged themselves back into the game, England come up with a world-class try.  

    Danielle Waterman collects a loose kick at full-back and produces a lovely sidestep to start the break.

    Bianca Blackburn with a nice pass inside and Emily Scarratt runs free down the wing before converting her own try.

    That has to be game over now.

    Brilliant play from the Ireland team who kept the ball down the middle and finished it off well.

    But Ireland don't need the penalty.

    They take the direct route straight through the middle and Lyons powers through Tamara Taylor over the whitewash.

    Ireland show great character and they're back in this game.

    It's worth remembering that this is the first Six Nations to feature a fully professional squad.

    38 players in the England set-up are on professional contracts, 18 of those full-time.

    England are really showing their superiority now but Ireland won't lie down - even with only 14 players on the field.

    Centre Jenny Murphy has been their best player this afternoon and she breaks the tackle once again to set Ireland on the front foot.

    Advantage coming for the high tackle...

    Laura Keates took the ball well and it's another break from centre Emily Scarratt who is running wild in the midfield this afternoon.

    Amy Cokayne is on her shoulder and finishes the break for England's third try of the game, and her fifth of the championship. Rapid pace from the hooker.

    Scarratt with the conversion and England are up to 20 points.
