Brilliant play from England. They've managed to score points when they've got into Ireland's 22 and have managed to keep Ireland out when they have got into England's 22. They should grow in confidence now.

Ireland 0-10 England (missed con Scarratt)

    And England do just that.

They suck in the Irish defence and Laura Keates pops up to drive over the line and mark her 60th cap with a try.

Emily Scarratt has to have the ball held down by a teammate on the kicking tee, but her kick is again unsuccessful as it ricochets off the crossbar.

England by no means home and dry.

    Ireland 0-5 England

England have sapped up all of Ireland's possession in this first 10 minutes and have a scrum five-metres out from the Ireland line.

England captain Sarah Hunter drives into the heart of the Irish defence but the World Champions need to show some patience here.

Ireland have had so much pressure and the longer England can prevent them from scoring the more belief they will have to go on and secure the win.

And Ireland's period of possession comes to nothing.

England chose to run the ball out of their 22 as their forwards get them out of trouble.

This is a hugely physical game - with one score the difference.

    Ireland 0-5 England

Ireland are in a great position here.

Jenny Murphy with a great run, and it all came from England's Alex Matthews' error losing the ball in contact.

Ireland turn down the points once again and go for the corner.

They've secured the line-out but England do well to slow down Ireland's attack.

    Ireland 0-5 England

England have a total of 289 caps on their bench, compared to Ireland's 68.

We could see the experience of the England bench playing a big part in this second period.

Kay Wilson moves in-field to find the ball and straightens to drive down the middle.

England making steady progress here but they're still in their own half.

Vickii Cornborough has also come into the front row and Amber Reed moves from the centre to the fly-half position for England.

But Ireland win the first penalty of this second period.

Larissa Muldoon leaves the field right at the start of this half to be replaced by Mary Healy at scrum-half for Ireland.

England used all their experience to get out of that without conceding a try. They've used their get-out-of-jail card to stop Ireland getting a score before half-time.
