    Saracens 20-12 Harlequins

Ben Spencer off, Richard Wigglesworth on.

No offence to the Saracens number nine, but that is arguably a step up in quality coming on.

Harlequins just outside the Sarries 22 with the ball before Jamie Roberts knocks on.

  2. Penalty (Evans)published at 17:42 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Saracens 20-12 Harlequins

They're yet to trouble, or get close to, the try line but the boot of Nick Evans is giving Harlequins hope.

He's 100% for the afternoon after England lock Maro Itoje concedes another penalty.

Phase after phase of Harlequins attacks have been repelled by Saracen's defence.

Some of the best in Europe have struggled to break down the wolfpack but their line line speed at the moment is incredible.

He was in the wars in the first half and now Mako Vunipola makes his way to the bench for Saracens with his leg very heavily strapped up.

Titi Lamositele is on for the big man.

  5. Penalty (Farrell)published at 17:35 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Saracens 20-9 Harlequins

Five from five now for Owen Farrell and this is probably the best of the lot.

From distance, on an angle on the right, his hefty swing of the right leg guides it through the posts.

Anthony Watson soaks up the adulation from Bath fans after his two late tries sealed a crucial victory over Leicester.

Watson tells 5 live it was an "unbelievable" win, and is philosophical over his Lions prospects:

"Whatever happens on the 19th, happens," he said.

  11. Half-timepublished at 17:17 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Saracens 17-9 Harlequins

Two tries for Saracens who have been very Saracens-y in that first 40 minutes.

Chris Ashton and Schalk Brits with the tries, with three Nick Evans penalties keeping them in touch in from of a maybe two thirds full Wembley.

  12. Postpublished at 17:14 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Saracens 17-9 Harlequins

    Oh dear Alex Goode.

Usually so reliable with everything he does, he spills a Nick Evans high bomb from a free-kick and Harlequins have a scrum on the edge of the Saracens 22.

  13. Penalty (Farrell)published at 17:10 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Saracens 17-9 Harlequins

The England number 12, playing fly-half today, makes it four from four for the afternoon in what has been a typically assured start for Owen Farrell.

Five minutes to go until half-time.

  14. Postpublished at 17:08 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Saracens 14-9 Harlequins

We bigged him up pre-match. There has been talk of a Lions place. But this isn't great from Chris Ashton.

Joe Conlon with the initial break, he gives it to Alex Goode and then the full-back fizzes it high to Ashton who knocks on with the try line gaping.

It was slightly high but you'd expect Ashton to gobble that up.

  17. Penalty (Evans)published at 17:04 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Saracens 14-6 Harlequins

Another Maro Itoje conceded and Nick Evans does the honours from the tee.

Simple enough kick and it at least keeps the scoreboard ticking over for John Kingston's side.

  18. try

Try (Waldrom, con Steenson)published at 17:03 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Exeter 38-34 Bristol

Thomas Waldrom crashes over for his second try of the game and there are absolute scenes at Sandy Park now as Exeter reclaim the lead! Oh wow. Seriously, WOW.

That try came with just over three minutes remaining. It could be huge in the context of both Exeter's and Bristol's season.

Is there a better club team in the world at driving mauls?

So structured, so patient and Saracne hooker Schalk Brits gets another try off the back off one, with the Saracens power just too much.

A simple two for Owen Farrell.

  20. Try review (Brits)published at 16:59 British Summer Time 8 April 2017
