  1. try

    Half-timepublished at 15:51 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Leicester 11-3 Newcastle

Out of seemingly nowhere Leicester manage to muster up some real pressure on the Newcastle defence, and after Brendon O'Connor is held up just inches from the line, and the referee plays advantage for an offside shortly after, the Tigers set up Ellis Genge for a drive over the line from close in.

Freddie Burns misses the kick wide to the left of the posts, but new Tigers head coach Matt O'Connor will be happy with that scoreline now.

    Gloucester 15-12 Sale

Gloucester take the lead just before half-time through a Billy Burns kick. That game is twisting and turning like me on the dancefloor at a wedding.*

    *Not strictly true.

It's been a fascinating and enthralling half. It's a clash of styles. Worcester have found gaps in Bath's defence out wide, but Bath's defence has been strong. Territorially, it's been all Worcester.

    Worcester 6-10 Bath

Oh my word. On the stroke of half-time, Worcester's Ryan Mills has slotted over a penalty from eight metres inside his own half.

    A monster kick.

Warriors trail by four points at the break.

    Worcester 3-10 Bath

Bath go over before the break! Jonathan Joseph works the ball out wide and there's no stopping big winger Matt Banahan, who crosses for the first try at Sixways.

George Ford lands the conversion and the visitors have a 10-3 lead.

  7. Penalty (Burns)published at 15:41 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Leicester 6-3 Newcastle

Newcastle's Evan Olmstead puts in a huge hit on Ben Youngs, giving the referee no choice but to give Leicester a penalty 20m out, in a central position.

Freddie Burns duly pings it through the posts.

  9. try

Trypublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Gloucester 12-12 Sale

    Textbook line-out try from Gloucester.

The throw comes in, they get men behind the ball to push them over the line and the man who claims the try is Richard Hibbard.

We've only had four tries all day so far. They've all come at Kingsholm.

But the score remains tied as Billy Burns misses the conversion attempt.

  10. Penalty (Mills)published at 15:38 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Worcester 3-3 Bath

Ryan Mills connects sweetly from 40 metres out and levels for Worcester against Bath, who have not won away from home in the Premiership since 30 October.

    Leicester 3-3 Newcastle

Leicester are indebted to Ben Youngs for saving a try.

Vereniki Goneva breaks through from about 40 metres out thanks to some quick passing from the visitors, beats one man and looks set to be through on the line, but Youngs comes from nowhere to halt the winger.

Newcastle try to recycle the ball but after 15 phases they lose it.

    Worcester 0-3 Bath

Bath make a mess of a lineout in their own 22 but some excellent work from back row forward Francois Louw turns the ball over in his side's favour.

    An escape for the visitors.

I love watching Francois Louw. His instinct is to get on the ball at every single breakdown.

I wonder what Tigers head coach Matt O'Connor has made of his side's display so far.

Since Newcastle have been level, Leicester had the chance to break through, but Owen Williams dropped the ball despite showing us his best juggling trick. His side had another chance to force the Falcons defence into action, but again made another error.

Error-strewn would define this game so far.

    Worcester 0-3 Bath

Worcester have responded well to falling behind, with full-back Chris Pennell twice making breaks through for Warriors.

A win for the hosts will almost certainly secure Premiership survival for another season.

    Leicester 3-3 Newcastle

Leicester have just allowed Newcastle back into this match after an infringement at the breakdown, with Joel Hodgson - matchwinner last week against Gloucester - slotting through the posts to bring the scores level.

  17. Penalty (Ford)published at 15:26 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Worcester 0-3 Bath

It's taken 23 minutes, but we finally have some points at Sixways and they've gone the way of Bath - somewhat against the run of play given Worcester's early dominance.

England fly-half George Ford slots over from 30 metres out to open his account for the day.

  18. try

Trypublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Gloucester 7-12 Sale

Gloucester have just totally switched off after going ahead early on. Or was it just the kick up the backside the Sharks needed?

The Cherry and Whites will not be happy with how they've conceded this try as Ben Curry latches onto a grubber kick and offloads to Mike Phillips to score.

Phillips announced he was retiring at the end of the season earlier this week. Are we going to see a little renaissance in the final few games?

Billy Burns misses a kick for Gloucester from 30 metres out in front of the posts, just to compound their misery.

  20. converted try

AJ MacGinty slots through the conversion, and we're back to square one after a rather exciting few minutes.
