Worcester thought they were on course for the first try of the game but referee Luke Pearce cuts short their celebrations as Warriors had lost the ball forward before Marco Mama touched down under the sticks.

    Gloucester 7-5 Sale

Just after Gloucester score, Sale go right down the other end and find their own try.

Sam James spots the overlap and touches down on the wing.

Gloucester just seemed to switch off totally.

    Gloucester 7-0 Sale

What was I saying about it still being scoreless?

The first try of the day is at Kingsholm and it was superbly worked by Gloucester thanks to a lovely interchange between England international Jonny May and Tony Marshall, gifting the latter space to score.

Billy Burns converts, but hang on...

Still no score in the match at Kingsholm with a number of penalties already in the match.

The Cherry and Whites will really want to win today to capitalise on Harlequins' defeat last night.

    Quote Message

Bath's style is going to be very dangerous, but they're playing their style of a wide game even inside their own 22. I'd like to see them to be a little bit more dogmatic.

Is there revenge on the mind of Worcester's director of rugby Gary Gold?

He held the same position at Bath before leaving in December 2013.

His Warriors side have started very well and have been camped in the visitors' half in the opening minutes, but there are no points on the board yet at Sixways.

  8. Penalty (Burns)published at 15:06 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Leicester 3-0 Newcastle

It's a rather easy three points for Freddie Burns, straight between the posts from just to the right of the sticks.

Newcastle need to stop the mistakes or this could be a long afternoon.

    Leicester 0-0 Newcastle

Leicester are the ones doing all of the early running in this match on the right of the pitch. The Tigers are being gifted metres by a number of Falcons errors, and the hosts have a penalty about five metres out.

Now we know this isn't rugby, but in the world of the round ball there's one non-league football team that's made quite a stir this week for reasons off the pitch.

Billericay Town squad performed a bizarre rendition of R Kelly song 'The World's Greatest' in the dressing room before a cup final, which they duly won 8-3.

    So what's at stake today?

    Premiership table

Exeter's win last night keeps the pressure up on Premiership leaders Wasps, while Bath and Leicester both play today in matches which could go some way to deciding that final top-four spot.

    Gloucester v Sale (15:00 BST)

Harlequins' defeat last night has left the door slightly ajar for Gloucester to get into the top six, where they would bag an automatic qualification spot for the European Champions Cup.

Six points separate them from Quins, so a win today would do the Cherry and Whites rather nicely.

For Sale, the league season is pretty much over. With no hope of finishing in the upper half, and no danger of going down, the rest of this term much all be about rebuilding for Steve Diamond's men.

    Worcester v Bath (15:00 BST)

Regardless of events at Welford Road, Bath know they need to win at Worcester to keep up the pressure on Leicester as they battle for that coveted fourth play-off spot.

Last Saturday's win over the Tigers at Twickenham has certainly made things interesting, as it brought the two clubs level on points with three games remaining.

Worcester have been fighting at the wrong end of the Premiership table again this season but one more win should be enough for them to confirm their spot in the top flight again next term.

A Warriors win today and defeat for Bristol against leaders Wasps tomorrow would send Bristol back down to the Championship.
