Converted try - England 20-6 Australiapublished at 16:47 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Jonathan Joseph (con Farrell)

This is all about Danny Care's heads-up rugby.

The replacement scrum-half flips a delicious little box-chip over the top of a flat Australia defence and it is perfect for Jonathan Joseph, who keeps his cool, gathers, slides and dots down.

Two more from Owen Farrell and that is surely the match.

  2. 'Georgia were smarter'published at 16:47 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Wales 13-6 Georgia

    Shane Williams
Former Wales international on BBC One

For me it is the same it's been the last couple of autumn series for Wales. A lot of changes, a lot of new combinations.

But the younger players will have learned a lot from this game, particularly about keeping the ball.

Georgia weren't spectacular, but they were the better team in the second half and they were a bit smarter - they didn't compete at the breakdown until they had to.

Perhaps they should have had something out of the game in the end.

Stuart: Wales hang your heads, gamesmanship of the highest order. Well done Georgia.

David Parker: Typical Wales and Warren Gatland. Should've shown Georgia more respect as New Zealand would've done and fielded a full strength side. Good luck next week...

Roy Jones: Wales have no street smarts.

    Perhaps their coaches do though...

    FT: Wales 13-6 Georgia

In a farcical end to proceedings in Cardiff, Wales said they were unable to field a replacement prop when Tomas Francis was sin-binned on 80 minutes.

With Georgia camped on their line, and awaiting a scrum, their gamesmanship has been called into question.

That decision, and their abject performance, hasn't won many plaudits....

This is a very, very big decision. Michael Cheika can't believe the try has been disallowed. England are breathing again.

Michael Cheika covers his face in his hands and marches down to pitchside, having an angry word with a spectator on the way.

Stephen Moore has been ruled as obstructing Chris Robshaw as the flanker attempted to make a last-ditch tackle.

It is a close call, but I think, just, the right one.

    Cheika is fuming though.

This videotape is being more closely examined than Abraham Zapruder's trip to Dallas.

Referee Ben O'Keeffe is finally coming to a decision...

What an unbelievable move in these conditions. The rain has been teeming down. The intricacy was brilliant. My instinct says that's a try.

  9. Try reviewpublished at 16:41 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    England 13-6 Australia

    Australia are over the line.

A sublime break from the superb Marika Koroibete, Bernard Foley took it on and Koroibete is back on his feet to roll over.

But is the grounding good with Chris Robshaw in close attendance?

And is there a hint of accidental offside involving Stephen Moore?

  10. As good as it got for Wales...published at 16:40 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Wales 13-6 Georgia

Hallam Amos scored the only try of the match in the first half...

...he thought he'd added a second minutes later, but in the end it was ruled out.

Stephen Moore picks out Michael Hooper in the line-out, but England put the handbrake on the rolling maul and the Aussies can't get the ball to ground.

Massive back slaps for the England pack from the boys out wide.

That could be pivotal. Should the Wallabies have gone for the sticks?

    Twelve minutes to go...

    England 13-6 Australia

Australia have had 78% possession over the last 10 minutes.

What would they have done with 15 men on the pitch throughout?

What might they yet do with 14 minutes to go?

Bernard Foley opts to kick a penalty into the corner. Massive line-out dart coming up for the veteran hooker Stephen Moore off the bench...

Wales captain Dan Lydiate speaking on BBC One:

"It was a tale of two halves. We tried to play in the first half but second half there were lots of errors, we weren't clinical enough.

"We are happy with the win but the nerves were going at the end. Maybe we should have taken the three points earlier in the game.

"Some of the young boys put their hands up there against a heavy Georgian pack. My body is going to be aching tomorrow."

  17. Penalty - England 13-6 Australiapublished at 16:33 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    England 13-3 Australia

Delightful from Courtney Lawes as he rolls through a tackle and shovels an off-load out of the side door.

    But England ship another penalty.

This should be simple for Bernard Foley.

Maybe Michael Cheika's pre-match words had the desired effect?

But Ben O'Keeffe can't miss Chris Robshaw's blatant late hit on Kurtley Beale.

A brain-dead piece of indiscipline. And it gives up 80m.
