    While London Irish have given up two quick tries, they manage to respond with their third penalty of the afternoon on 28 minutes.

    Yes, the YMCA is ringing around Allianz Park because Sean Maitland has gone in for a five-pointer!

    Maitland's try started with the forwards making the hard yards before beautifully swift hands from Owen Farrell and Marcelo Bosch created the space out wide.

    Farrell adds the conversion and Saracens are back in the driving seat once again.

    With 25 minutes on the clock Gloucester had an opportunity to open their account for the afternoon however Billy Twelvetrees doesn't read the wind and his kick at goal flies wide.

    This effort is more a thing of beauty.

    A fine break from Sonatane Takulua and a cross field kick finishes with Tait going for for his second try of the afternoon.

    After a scrappy exchange, Newcastle charge down a kick and Alex Tait pounces on the loose ball to go over for the game's first try.

    Toby Flood is off target with the conversion, but for the first time today the Falcons lead London Irish.

    Once again referee Andrew Jackson penalises Gloucester at the breakdown and AJ MacGinty duly slots his second penalty kick of the afternoon.

    With the end of the first quarter approaching Sale have an early grasp on the scoreboard.

    Saracens bulldoze their way up-field and it take a herculean tackle from Worcester's David to halt Michael Rhodes inches from the line.

    As all good scrum-halves do, Ben Spencer snatches the ball quickly from the breakdown and waves his way through to score.

    Owen Farrell adds the conversion and after 16 minutes it's all square at Allianz Park.

    London Irish 6-3 Newcastle Falcons

    From a line-out deep in their own territory, London Irish go down the other side of the pitch to reclaim the lead.

    The ball was stolen by the Exiles and Joe Cokansiga races away after a Scott Steele kick looking for the game's first try. A penalty is then awarded and Greig Tonks lands his second penalty.

    The first points of the game at Kingsholm come from the visitors. Despite the windy conditions, AJ MacGinty nails his first kick at goal after Gloucester were penalised for not rolling away.

    It's been a competitive first 12 minutes and the home crowd are in fine voice as their side try to maintain their unbeaten record this term.

    Newcastle are quick to respond and level against London Irish, with Toby Flood sending a routine penalty over from 10m out.

    Eight minutes have come and gone, and it is all square 3-3.
