    Cardiff Blues 6-10 Gloucester

Cardiff are struggling to get any sort of territory in this game - Gloucester have yet to miss any of their 33 tackles they have made so far in this game.

The English side's tactic of kicking the ball into the space behind the Cardiff line seems to be working so far.

    Cardiff Blues 6-10 Gloucester

Gloucester denied their second try of the day as referee Jerome Garces says it was a forward pass to Lewis Ludlow to go over,.

But replays suggest the ball did not go forward - looked like a great pass from prop Josh Hohneck from the side of his hand as he was tackled.

Brian O'Driscoll would have been proud of that pass - perhaps if it was a back the referee would have given it?!

After an entertaining start, the intensity of this match has dropped markedly.

There was even a Mexican wave a few minutes ago. Nobody wants to see that in a final, so let's hope the action picks up again.

The good, the bad and the ugly from Cardiff in about 20 seconds.

Ellis Jenkins rips the ball away from Gloucester at the breakdown with a great turnover, but Rhys Gill's pass looking for the overlap is poor and Willis Halaholo knocks on.

It gives the Cherry and Whites a scrum just outside the Cardiff 22 in a central area.

Gloucester now have a period of pressure in the Cardiff half.

Billy Burns and Mark Atkinson have both shown how dangerous they can be with kicks either over or through the Blues line, something the Welsh side have to be aware of.

Losing Josh Navidi is a huge blow for the Cardiff Blues.

The flanker has been excellent this season, establishing himself with Wales with a string of dynamic displays.

With that injury, however, his participation in Wales' summer tour of Argentina looks in serious doubt.

Can Cardiff Blues get back into this straight away?

It was a shell-shocking try to concede, but they are back in possession now and battling with the Gloucester defence on the English club's own 22.

What a try! Amazing cross-field kick from Billy Burns finds Henry Trinder on the left wing and he dives in at the corner.

It was simply brilliant from Burns and a wonderful way to start this game.

Billy Twelvetrees adds the conversion from a difficult angle.

Big setback for Cardiff, just six minutes in and Josh Navidi, their big flanker, is forced off with what looks like a dislocated shoulder, Olly Robinson comes on in his place.

That penalty was all about the Cardiff Blues' back-rowers, who have combined to devastating effect this season.

Before tonight's game, four Blues – Josh Navidi, Nick Williams, Ellis Jenkins and Josh Turnbull – were in the top 10 for turnovers in this season’s Challenge Cup.
