A lot of reaction to that Owen Farrell tackle.

Jonny: That England have let Australia back into this game shows how far they still have to go. Farrell a lucky boy to still be on the pitch.

Mark: If Owen Farrell doesn't watch it, he will be targeted by referees and opposition captains. It is not a tough side to his game, it is an illegal side to his game.

    Andrew is right.

Owen Farrell threw his shoulder into that late hit on Izack Rodda, T-boning the Australia second row in the chest and rocking him backwards.

He may have wafted his arms in a vague attempt to wrap, but his body position meant that he was nowhere near actually getting around Rodda. He would have needed limbs like Stretch Armstrong to make that a legal tackle.

That is his own fault and it should have been a penalty try and potentially yellow.

Andrew: Owen Farrell needs to learn how to tackle correctly and within the laws of rugby before he seriously injures himself or an opponent. I have no idea how he has got away with the same blatant thing twice within a month!

England's forwards have been quite tight and Australia have found a way back - they are picking between Eddie Jones' forwards and backs.

A very controversial end to that half but it leaves both teams exactly how they started, level.

Australia so good and passionate about so many sports, they have clawed their way right back into this one.

Plenty of fat to chew after an eventful first half...

    Australia up to within five!

Owen Farrell puts in a heroic hit to stop onrushing second row Izack Rodda just short.

Actually it was a naughty shoulder charge, just like in the South Africa game from Farrell.

He is lucky to get away with that one.

Australia have the penalty anyway for offside...

Great finish, great try and that will give Australia so much confidence that they can attack this England team.

The lines of running here, the decoy runners, the phase alone outside, all brilliant.

Folau cuts a brilliant line against the grain and slips straight through England's defence, an excellent score for Australia.

    Israel Folau (con Toomua)

Oh my. That is what the big man does!

Israel Folau hits a line at supersonic pace to go inside Owen Farrell and then sends Ben Youngs and Elliot Daly to the beer tent with an ankle-icer of a side-step.

He canters between the posts with a Cheshire Cat grin and you can't blame him.

    Easy conversion for Matt Toomua.

Australia haven't troubled England at all, they've scored from a forward pass and that says it all really.

England have controlled this game excellently.

Elliot Daly runs into some heavy Aussie traffic, taking a hit from Peter Samu, while second row Izack Rodda sweeps his legs from under him and plonks him down, rather sheepishly, beyond the horizontal.

    Penalty, nothing more.

Owen Farrell is going to take on a very inviting shot at goal.

The Aussie crowd getting very excited in the right-hand corner, but he's got to have a look at that pass surely?

The referee's got to come in and check that and you know why? He's got a ref mic, he's clearly been listening to Robbo complaining there!

    Hold up.

Dane Haylett-Petty looked like he had scored, diving in from Samu Kerevi's offload.

Referee Jaco Peyper signalled for the try, but the crowd's reaction to the replay on the big screen - gasps of indignation followed by the bellows of fury - meant it was sent upstairs.

Yep, Haylett-Petty clearly threw a forward pass in the build-up. Picked up by the video official just in time...
