  1. Errors aboundpublished at 35 mins

    Lyon 10-13 Glasgow Warriors

Stuart Hogg looks to run back a loose kick and then tries a little chip kick but it's poorly executed and suddenly Glasgow are in trouble.

Lyon have numbers as they approach the Glasgow 22 but Adrien Seguret throws a shocking pass behind every one of his three support players and into touch.

A few words exchanged after the ball goes dead. There is a noticeable edge to this match.

  2. Penalty reversedpublished at 32 mins

    Lyon 10-13 Glasgow Warriors

The referee deems that no card is necessary for Oli Kebble but he does reverse his earlier penalty decision that was given in Glasgow's favour which allows Lyon to clear their lines.

It is on his chest. He hasn't gone for his chin. It is a fair clear-out. There is nothing in that. I think there might have been some hands on face after the clear-out but it is rugby, not tiddlywinks. It is a physical sport, let it be physical

  4. Kebble clobbers Lambeypublished at 31 mins

    Lyon 10-13 Glasgow Warriors

    Now then.

Oli Kebble comes in with a big clearout at the ruck on Felix Lambey.

It's hard, it's high and the TMO and referee are looking at just how high.

A couple of errors creeping into Glasgow's game, with an overthrown line-out and then George Turner heading down 'fool's alley' there on the touchline and getting bundled into touch

  6. try

Try! Lyon 10-13 Glasgow Warriorspublished at 25 mins

    Toby Arnold

A forward pass from Peter Horne in his own 22 gives Lyon a scrum in a prime attacking position and they make it count.

Several big carries from the likes of Felix Lambey and substitute Patrick Sobela takes the French side towards the Glasgow line. The attack is switched from one flank to the other and Lionel Beauxis spins a terrific long pass out for Toby Arnold to race over in the corner.

    Quote Message

That wasn't a case of one player making big yardage. There were three or four players up in support each time and when the cavalry comes through like that, there is an opportunity for those off-loads and pop-passes

  8. try

Try! Lyon 3-13 Glasgow Warriorspublished at 21 mins

    Adam Ashe

    A beautifully constructed score.

DTH van der Merwe comes in off his wing to combine with Callum Gibbins, whose pass back inside looks suspiciously forward.

The ball makes its way to George Horne and the little scrum-half slices through towards the post and pops a lovely pass out the back door for Adam Ashe to go over.

  9. Penalty: Lyon 3-6 Glasgow Warriorspublished at 16 mins

    Adam Hastings

A big scrum from Glasgow yields a penalty around 40m out and Adam Hastings bangs over a beauty to put Glasgow back in front.

Fraser Brown took a while to get up after a tackle on Lionel Beauxis and has made way for George Turner.

I don't think on that occasion it was deliberate from Glasgow. But Adam Ashe was up in the air and did connect with their jumper on the way down

  11. Penalty: Lyon 3-3 Glasgow Warriorspublished at 13 mins

    Jonathan Pelissie

Adam Ashe is penalised for bringing Felix Lambey down at the line-out.

Jonathan Pelissie strikes his second effort far more sweetly than his first and levels the score.

    Lyon 0-3 Glasgow Warriors

    Colin Gregor
Former Scotland Sevens captain on BBC Radio Scotland

    Quote Message

Callum Gibbins was almost too keen to get at Lionel Beauxis from the back of the line-out and left the gap that Toby Arnold charged through.

  13. Missed penaltypublished at 8 mins

    Lyon 0-3 Glasgow Warriors

Lyon wing Toby Arnold comes tearing into the line and bursts through the Glasgow defence who are left scrambling.

Lionel Beauxis pops a grubber kick through but it finds touch when it might have been better staying in.

Glasgow infringe to allow Jonathan Pelissie a shot at goal but the scrum-half strikes it horribly and Warriors' lead remains intact.

  14. Slick Seymourpublished at 6 mins

    Lyon 0-3 Glasgow Warriors

Tommy Seymour has seen plenty of the ball in these opening stages.

The winger dinks a beautiful little chip over the defence and re-gathers to set up the attack. Stuart Hogg and Adam Hastings are involved but a forward pass from the fly-half halts the move.

Fraser Brown was quite cute there. He put a leg out so the second row couldn't roll away, milking the penalty.

  16. Penalty: Lyon 0-3 Glasgow Warriorspublished at 4 mins

    Adam Hastings

A straightforward opportunity for Adam Hastings to open the scoring and he does the business from the tee.

  17. Crucial interventionpublished at 2 mins

    Lyon 0-0 Glasgow

Adam Hastings throws a great miss pass to Tommy Seymour who sets off up the touchline and finds Hastings with the return pass.

If the fly-half can find Stuart Hogg he looks set to score but French fingertips intercept the pass and the chance is lost.

    Promising start from the visitors.

  18. No Wilson but Ashe 'brings added physicality'published at 13:00 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Lyon v Glasgow Warriors (13:00)

    Colin Gregor
Former Scotland Sevens captain on BBC Radio Scotland

There is no place for co-captain Ryan Wilson in the Glasgow match-day 23 today, with Matt Fagerson starting at number eight and Adam Ashe at blind-side flanker.

    Quote Message

The added physicality and brutality Adam Ashe will bring is important playing over in France. Chris Fusaro adds real intensity and dynamism coming off the bench too. It is tough on Ryan Wilson, but you can understand Dave Rennie's decision.
