    Exeter 24-12 Castres

Castres have a scrum inside their 22. It all gets a bit sloppy as Maama Vaipulu tries to chip through. It rebounds off an Exeter player and Henry Slade gets hold of the ball.

He sends it to Jack Nowell, but the full-back knocks on.

You will not hear a bigger roar for a try today than for that last Exeter one.

Not only for the bonus, but also for Tom O’Flaherty who has taken his chance in this Chiefs side in recent weeks.

With injuries to Nowell, Woodburn and Cuthbert the inexperienced Welshman, who was playing in the Welsh Premiership a couple of years ago, has really stepped up.

But that quickfire Castres try that followed shows how dangerous the French champions can be.

What a response from Castres. A show and go from Thomas Combezou and he's across the line.

Benjamin Urdapilleta sends the conversion straight through the middle.

That was an inch perfect kick from Henry Slade. What a talent that young man is.

Exeter 24-5 Castres (O'Flaherty, Simmonds (con))

    Just incredible from Henry Slade.

He steps inside his defender and sends a perfectly-weighted kick through. Tom O'Flaherty is too fast for his opposite number and tumbles over the tryline.

Chiefs have the bonus point. That could be crucial.

It's a tough conversion for Joe Simmonds out on the left, but he edges it through the posts.

Exeter's Harry Williams is on for Tomas Francis.

Castres have brought on Kevin Firmin for Jody Jenneker, Tudor Stroe for Antoine Tichit and Rory Kockott for Ludovic Radosavljevic.

James Kelly: Good to see Exeter Chiefs showing once again the myth they can't play attacking rugby and run it from their own half is rubbish! Fantastic breaks and counter attacking in the first half.

    How impressive is this guy?

Jack Nowell is enjoying his return.

He's just got the one try so far, but with some of the breaks he's been making you'd expect him to score more in the second half.

Nowell's definitely sending a message to England head coach Eddie Jones with the Six Nations coming up.

That was absolutely fabulous. I think Castres will be pleased to be going into the dressing room only 17-5 down.

What a 40 minutes we've got in store coming up.

Exeter ideally need a bonus-point win to keep their hopes of qualifying for the quarter-final alive. It's looking very promising so far, they just need one more try in the second half.

    HT: Exeter 17-5 Castres

There's more defensive pressure from Castres now and the ball slips through Matt Kvesic's hands as he's brought down.

The visitors cannot capitalise though and send the ball loose. Nic White kicks it through and gives chase, but trips and that brings up half-time.

Exeter will really miss Santiago Cordero when he leaves for Bordeaux in the summer.

The elusive Argentine has been superb in recent weeks, carrying the attacking burden after injuries to Jack Nowell, Olly Woodburn and Alex Cuthbert.

He’s been superb again today and is causing the Castres defence all sorts of problems.

    Exeter 17-5 Castres

Exeter are clearly keen to make the most of the dry weather in Devon. They're playing some beautiful running rugby.

But Chiefs give away a penalty and Castres kick to touch on the halfway line. The French side lose possession at the set-piece again though.

Castres initially run it out of their 22, but Geoffrey Palis opts to kick it in the end. Exeter have a line-out just outside the Castres 22.
