It was right to be red, it had to be red because it's a second reaction and nothing to do with the charge-down. It's premeditated, bringing his left arm into play and it caught Adam Hastings in the head.

Lyon have got a driving maul from a line-out rumbling here, but Glasgow have won a penalty and launch it to touch.

The incident involving Hastings was referred to TMO Geoff Warren, who has deemed that the forearm thrust into the Glasgow fly-half's face warrants a red card.

Lyon back on the attack, but Jean-Marc Doussain runs into the formidable frame of Jonny Gray, who bundles him back five metres.

Some action at last, it's been one of those games. Lots of good attack from Glasgow getting towards the Lyon line, reaching ever closer and then the pick-and-goes come to an end and Glasgow think 'we're not going to get through this way'.

A couple of penalties from Saracens fly-half Owen Farrelll have put the English champions 19-14 up against Cardiff Blues, in the other game in Pool Three.

Having done all the hard work, the Warriors shift it out to the backs but a loose pass from Stafford McDowall sees the move break down and Lyon snaffle it.

Patient stuff from Glasgow, who carry the ball through 20 phases right up to the Lyon line...

Glasgow make a hash of the line-out, but they have the ball back again now, and are up to the Lyon 22.

A try here would change the complexion somewhat...
