It wasn't a planned grubber, actually the pass went along the ground and it's the winger out there Mignot who just kicks it forward and Hogg is unable to gather the loose ball. It does bounce straight up into Barassi's hands and he's over the try line.

  2. Changes for Warriorspublished at 54 mins

Warriors make a couple of changes, Rob Harley replacing Ryan Wilson at blind-side and Peter Horne taking over at centre from Huw Jones.

    Try - Glasgow 18-10 Lyon (Barassi)published at 52 mins

    Eventually Lyon's pressure tells.

A poor pass from Jean-Marcellin Buttin goes to ground, but winger Xavier Mignot kicks on, Stuart Hogg can't deal with it and the ball bounces up for centre Pierre-Louis Barassi to dive over in the right corner.

Jean-Marc Doussain lands a brilliant conversion from the touchline.

Lyon pressing hard here, going through the phases, but Glasgow's defence holding firm...for now.

Lyon seem to think they can play from deep and eventually they do put in a kick and it gets almost to the Glasgow try line because it bounces and it rolls. You've got the wind behind you and a firm surface so the ball will travel

    Glasgow 18-3 Lyon

Glasgow trying to make ground from their own 22, keeping ball in hand, but in these conditions it's asking a lot to create an opening from there, and a knock-on hands possession back to Lyon from a scrum.

    Glasgow 18-3 Lyon

Lackadaiscal stuff from Huw Jones there, the Glasgow centre chucking a pass through his legs, and straight into touch, inside his own half.

    Glasgow 18-3 Lyon

A reminder that Callum Gibbins is still in the sin-bin for Glasgow, who now have the inexperienced Grant Stewart at hooker.

  11. Blues beating Saracens at half-timepublished at 14:14 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

    HT: Glasgow 18-3 Lyon

Interesting developments in the other match in this group.

Cardiff Blues have scored two tries - through Rey Lee-Lo and Dan Fish - and now lead Saracens 14-13 at half-time.

Long way to go, but a decent result for Blues there could improve Glasgow's prospects too.

I think the difference is Glasgow have been clinical with the ball that they're had. Lyon are actually edging the possession and the territory but Glasgow have managed to fashion two really good tries.

  13. Half-time - Glasgow 18-3 Lyonpublished at 14:01 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

So a healthy lead for Glasgow, two tries on the board, two more required for another bonus point.

But a worrying-looking injury for George Turner, further depleting the hooking resources of Warriors and Scotland.

  14. Penalty - Glasgow 18-3 Lyon (Doussain)published at 40 mins + 1

After Lyon also have a player taken off on a stretcher (not sure who, will update anon), the first half ends with Lyon fly-half Jean-Marc Doussain landing a penalty to get the visitors on the scoreboard.

Fraser Brown is out for eight to 10 weeks with a knee injury, and now George Turner looks to have a serious injury. That's two hookers injured for Glasgow.

Lyon hammering away in the Glasgow 22. With hooker George Turner on the deck receiving treatment, the Warriors are currently down to 13.

Tim Swinson is pinged for slowing down Lyon ball illegally at the ruck, as the rain continues to hammer down.

  17. Postpublished at 39 mins

    Glasgow 18-0 Lyon

Lyon are certainly having a go here, desperate for a score before half-time. They are shifting the point of attack, bringing their ball-carriers into it, handling well.

    Glasgow 18-0 Lyon

After another 5m scrum, Lyon are pinged for going too early, and Glasgow can't believe their luck. A free-kick, and a chance to relieve the pressure.

  19. Sin-bin - Callum Gibbinspublished at 36 mins

    Glasgow 18-0 Lyon

Gibbins has been shown a yellow card.

Didn't look the worst, but the TMO has deemed it worthy of a card.

  20. TMO reviewpublished at 35 mins

    Glasgow 18-0 Lyon

Did Lyon lock Etienne Oosthuizen get over there?

TMO is also checking on some foul play.

Looks like Glasgow co-captain Callum Gibbins gave Lyon number eight Deon Fourie a slap across the face, with an "open palm".
